Perfectly decent 10 foot firewire cable
This is a perfectly decent Firewire / 1394 cable, using the original Firewire 400 standard with the large six pin connectors which look like a triangle on a rectangle, rather than the large four pin connectors for Firewire 800, or the small connectors used on video cameras. It's decently made and looks and feels as good as all the other non-armoured Firewire cables I've ever owned. Good for connecting a computer to an external hard disk or a recording device.

A good cable
A good firewire 800 cable at a good price. I am personally very happy with the product and it works perfectly on a Macbook Pro.

a great little plug
this handy connector came to the rescue when i needed to plug my firewire 400 devices into a Macbook Pro which is only equipped with firewire 800 - marvellous

Works great for an older audio interface to a macbook
I bought a "new to me" laptop and my old recording interface 3694 firewire port was not compatible. I didn't feel like spending a ton of money but wanted to keep using it. This thing has been working for over a year with no issues. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
