Voyageur Press Led Zeppelin: All the Albums, All the Songs, Expanded Edition

Excellent book covering all the classic albums in detail. Some great photographs too. There are plenty of other titles that cover what four young men allegedly got up to when they toured the globe. This one underlines why they broke box office records everywhere they went.

Martin Popoff ist Autor zahlreicher Musikbücher, vor allem über Bands aus dem Bereich 70er Rock bis Metal (aller Subgenres).Das Buch zu den Led Zeppelin Songs ist spitze. Mensch erfährt viel über die Hintergründe, das Songwriting und auch musikalische Details in den Songs. Dem Buch ist offensichtlich viel Recherche vorangegangen. Popoff interpretiert vielleicht zu viel "heavy metal" in den einen oder anderen Song hinein, das ignoriere ich einfach. Ist wohl der Tatsache zu schulden, dass er ein alter "Metalhead" ist :) Die Beschreibungen sind trotzdem akkurat und erhellend.Das Buch liest sich leicht, hat Tolle Farb- und S/W-Fotos. Am besten daneben gleich die Alben anhören. Die erweiterte Fassung stellt weitere Songs aus den Deluxe-Editionen der einzelnen Alben vor. Einfach - 5 Sterne!

The detail that was put into this book was surprising. Quality binding and thick cover. Also the detail that was put into each song's explanation was great too. There are also great photos of the band littered throughout book and when songs now play on the radio, you can explain to all of your friends the history of the song. Excellent addition for any Led fan.
