Sela SE 010 CaSela Pro Satin Nut Professional Snare Cajon with On/Off Mechanism

I am into percussions and have assembled another Cajon before.This one has a great quality, assembly is easy and requires no glue, sounds really good and it looks great too. I am very happy with it.

I love my Sela! I keep it in the living room for when friends come over. Even the non-musically talented can play this and everyone has a blast. The sound is fantastic and the quality is top notch!

I'd highly recommend this box. The sound, to my ears, is excellent. One thing people should be aware of is that you need to use some kind of pad for the top. The wood scratches easily and the little metal rivets on your jeans will carve grooves into it. Get a seat cover to protect the wood top from damage. Other than that, fantastic.

I am not a professional percussionist, but a musician nonetheless (guitars). I love the simplicity of a Cajon. Just sit in it and get the vibe flowing. This is my second Cajon. (Both bought via Amazon) And I could immediately tell the difference in sound from my first (a clapbox) which is a good entry level one. The Sela sounds amazing. And the pulse just flows when you hear a great tone. From a good bass to awesome snare sounds this is it! If you are upgrading, then this is one helluva upgrade. Expensive, but worth it. And it looks amazing too. Packing and delivery from Amazon was okay. They committed next day delivery but delivered it a day later. But that does not take away the beauty and sound of instrument.
