Ok this is a great product!! A few things tho… 1st thing toss the wall anchors and get the heavy #8 screw in anchors. 2nd wipe the pipes off really well to keep the black residue off your hands or get ready to clean your walls.

The pipes are standard pipes and some need to be threaded less than others in order for them to all be in the correct orientation. They do come covered in oil so be sure to wipe them down before holding them up to your walls or setting them on anything. Overall very happy with the results and get lots of compliments. Hanging took me, a novice, about four hours.

When I opened the box the inside was covered in a grease. You will be a mess if you don't wipe everything thing down immediately. Bought to make shelves and will work fine.

Put the shelf in my New sewing room after the kid moved out.. Love it and the look. Just one more board I have outside and iam done.

The rust is definitely intentional to get that “industrial ahed” look and the grease prevents it from getting too rusty. But they are super gross and dirty when you pull them out of the box, it took me 15-20 minutes just to clean them enough to build the shelf.Other than the dirt/grease these are a great kit for making a custom shelf. I installed these next to my computer desk with a cheap pine butcher block board from my local hardware store.

The pieces are covered in grease. I had to wipe them down and cover them in a clear sealant. Then we put the shelf together and the pieces aren’t even and we can’t get them flush on the wall as they should. Plus one of the pieces is cracked. Very disappointed and of course I ordered them for my sons room we are redoing and it’s outside the return window otherwise I would.

Attached to concrete for our basement, these are sturdy, could use for a ladder if needed lol.

I bought these to put an off the ground bookshelf in my room. It comes out a little bit further than I'd hoped, but it looks great! My husband made the shelves and said it's very sturdy. He even hung off of it after he put the racks up. It's a great bookshelf that I spent 1/2 of what I would've paid at the store.

I liked them and they worked well for my space...however when they arrived and I opened the box I realized they were all rusty and filthy...I had to clean all of the pieces and then spray them with flat black rustoleum spray paint. I wasn't impressed by this. They were expensive and seemed used.

These had no finish on them so my hands were black from touching them. They would be fine for a garage or workshop but definitely not for home decor.
