I don’t feel it’s heavy to my experience it’s not heavy and not light so guess in between I would say. I don’t see how it can break the windshield because the string is really short which prevents it from swinging towards the windshield.. I never had a problem and I always bought these kinds of balls each time i purchase a new car.. hope this help some .. i definitely recommend ..🚘
