Best M50x Pads For Keeping Original Sound Profile
I have, over the four years I have owned them, tried numerous replacement earpads for my Audio-Technica M50x headphones. These include various brands, styles, and materials. Out of all of them, the Dekoni Elite Velour pads are by far the most true to the original sound profile of the headphones. There is a good chance that aside from more solid bass you won't be even able to tell the difference, and if you do, the provided frequency chart allows for simple minor tweaks. All cuts, nothing needs to be boosted. Now, beyond the sound, these pads are also extremely comfortable. Somehow they were able to keep that sound despite these being much deeper (and thus more cushioned) than the stock pads. The velour is dense and soft, without any scatchiness to cause itching. They stay cooler and drier than any leather or pleather type pads, but a bit warmer than the fully perforated leather/pleather I have tried. These pads also do a surprisingly good job and sound isolation and leakage prevention. Both are a tad worse than stock in this regard, but much better than most pads of a breathable material. Also, something minor though, be prepared to occasionally remove lint. Again, they do manage to be better than pads of similar materials, but that is to a relative degree. The Dekoni Choice Hybrids have a very similar sound profile to the Elite Velours, both being true to stock, which made it difficult to chose one over the other when ordering. I ultimately chose the velours as they have (according to their respective sound profile charts) less of a bump in bass over the stock pads. It's possible the hybrids could be more breathable, though. You almost certainly can't go wrong with either.Suffice it to say, I am very pleased with these replacement pads, and cannot recommend them highly enough. Well done, Dekoni.

Great replacement pads for Audio Technica ATH-ANC9
I own a pair of Audio Technica ATH-ANC9. While it is a decent noise cancelling headphone, the factory cushions were of a poor quality and began breaking after not-that-much-use, and while they at least remained in place for a couple of years, the eventually completely disintegrated, rendering the headphones unusable...Enter the Dekoni Sheep Skin Ear Pads.I was unsure if the M50 pads would fit properly, and while not a tight fit, once installed, they stay in place without issue, so I'm relieved they actually worked as they weren't cheap. The pads are of a very high quality, and are very comfortable (more so than the originals, which made my ears sweat more often than not). I was also considering the Brainwavz replacement pads, but read some reviews saying they were actually tighter than the originals, so I went with the Dekoni and they don't touch my ears (I would say I have medium sized ears). As for the sound, since the originals were already unusable by the time I got these, so I can't really do a side by side comparison, but it seems to be about the same.

Good Replacements
Overall the earpads really feel soft. I noticed the bass sound did drop slightly, but it was no biggie.

Very Comfortable Earpads
Compared to the stock ATH-M50X stock earpads the Elite Valour's are deeper and completely surround the ear similar to many gaming headsets I've used. They are very comfortable and the material appears to be high quality and is very soft. Dekoni's website mentions noise isolation as being one of the features of the earpads but while they do muffle outside noise slightly I can still hear everything going on around me without any audio playing which may or may not be preferable to some users. This honestly doesn't bother me at all as I just needed new earpads since my stock ones were starting to peel after 6 years of use but since it was a listed feature I thought it was worth mentioning.

good replacement ear pads for the ATH-M50X
Out of all the replacements I researched online, Dekoni's seem to be the best alternative to stock, even for the price. Not to mention the stock ear pads are out of stock as of recently. This is the closest you can get to stock. There's only a slight drop in bass, but its not a deal breaker.and of course, very comfortable too.

Great replacement ear pads for the ATH-M50X
I have a pair of ATH-M50X for work. I use them for video editing with my laptop. If I am out somewhere on a warm day...the stock ear pads can get really warm. They also don't provide much of a gab between the driver and your ear. Mine actually touch the padding. With these things...they don't do that at all. These are super comfortable. I love the cloth as it feels cooler. I highly recommend them.

Thought these were US made. Paid a premium for Chinese..
They fit and work great. However you could orobably save a few bucks and look at other brands which are orobably made in the same factory in China. I was under the impression these were US made. They come in a fancy box with magnets that you'll end up chucking in the trash. They could lose that to oass on the savings to the consumer. This is just to create an illusion of luxury.Soundstage, etc all very good on audio technica m50x's.1 con is they pickup lint and hair like crazy but this is to be expected, all brands do it.

Amazing fit.
Product works as described. The fit is amazing and just like the regular earpads that comes with the ATHM50x.They have the same size and width. I do not notice any change in the sound.Hopefully they last longer than pu leather.
