Good Quality Tire
I searched the web researching various trailer tire brands when I needed to replace the tires on my horse trailer. I also conferred with my brother-in-law who builds race car frames and is a guru on race car and horse trailers. He searched the race car websites/blogs that he frequents and found that several people had only good things to say about Maaxis. I upgraded to a higher load rating (from C to D, 6 ply to 8 ply), which was the highest available in my tire size. I bought my tires from Amazon, using their free shipping. They arrived super fast (4 days). I've used the trailer a few times since getting them. I have no complaints. In my research, I was initially inclined to go with one of the big name brands (one you would think is "Good", hint), but I and my brother-in-law both found several reports of that brand trailer tire blowing out even when the tires were new. If you look at the Maaxis website, you will find it is very well organized, easy to use and they are obviously a smaller business that takes pride in certain niches, such as trailer tires (they also make bike tires and my husband, an avid cyclist, says they are a good quality bike tire). I personally find this to be better than the large corporations who are selling trailer tires as an after-thought. On the Goodyear website, you can't find information on trailer tires--obviously not an area where they put any focus.

Work for me.
I have had a lot of trouble with trailer tires in the past. These Maxxis tires seem to hold up much better than most. The mileage is only about 20,000 miles but no blow outs and very few punctures even. No problem with defects in manufacture like with the tires I had before. The only trailer tires I buy now are Maxxis and Carlisle.

8000 miles and very pleased.
We were traveling cross country this summer and I didn't want any tire issues with my 2012 travel trailer. So I did lots of research, read lots of reviews and decided to go for the Maxxis Load range D tires ( My original tires were Goody**r load range C). I ran them at the recommended 65 PSI pressure and put 8000 miles on them in a month with not a single tire issue. We pulled through lots of hot weather including 115 degree ambient temperature in the Mojave Desert. I run a tire pressure monitor and the heat build up in these tires usually never got more than 10 degrees above ambient and trailer sway from passing 18 wheelers was reduced because these have a stiffer sidewall. I am extremely pleased with the tires and highly recommend them.

One of the best 15" rim RV tires around
I've used these before with excellent results. It's hard to find good, quality RV tires for 15" rims. These are the 8-ply model and use higher pressure, so make sure you get the 8-ply if it's required for your application. Goodyear Endurance in the 15" size is supposed to be good too, but no way to find them currently. This Maxxis is one of the best 14-15 inch RV tires made.

Both tires were out around
Both tires were out around. At 35 to 40 miles an hour my trailer bounces so bad it moves the truck. Save your money don’t buy these. Go to a local store as these people do not want to replace them.

Finally a good trailer tire
I have had this tire on my 6x12 steel utility trailer for four years now, purchased Oct 2013 here.Tire performs flawlessly and looks like new. Have treated it several times with some 303 outside, expectit to last a long time.Maxxis is worth the extra money.I keep them inflated about ten pounds under top psi spec, they have more load handling than I need.Even tread wear also, I'm guessing over about 8 thousand miles.

Great tire and a great price
Great tires and I actually received dates from late 2019 and early 2020. Not too bad considering my previous order from a different seller were 3 years old.

Excellent value for a trailer tire.
This tire had a 99mph rating when I bought it. DOT has required them to remove that rating, but the tires are still good for it!
