After using this product for years and occasionally having to resort to other moisturizers, this works best for me and my dry skin.

FINALLY! This is similar to the old original formula in the yellow bottle, and not that oat extract nonsense they came out with between. I have one of these in every room I love it that much. I am not sure what it is, but i have some autoimmune or nerve /sensory issue that came out in my 20s.. where when my hands get wet and start to dry, it is like they are incredibly tight and so comfortable and I cannot touch anything dry until I have this lotion on them. I know it sounds odd, but I have tried 5000000s kinds of lotions and nothing helped (not even the other name brand ones for dry skin). They either sit on your skin, or they feel greasy forever, or your hands itch after and other times there is just no relief. Something about this version of Vaseline (like the original formula) is the only thing that keeps whatever this issue is I have tamed. It soaks in, doesn't take a lot, and feels so good. And, I can write with a pen or pencil like 15 mins after without the pen/cil sliding up. PLEASE do not ever stop making this formula!!

Yes it's TRUE that it does leave a sticky residue but if u are ashy prone u may actually appreciate this feature. Winter is not my friend and my brown skin suffers in New York. But right out the shower this is thin ish when it comes out and really seems to lock in moisture better than most. I've done thick creams but they're expensive and still rub off in clothing and sheets and leave my skin thirsty. This one seem to last the whole day. I approve this lotion for all my sistas with ashy prone skin ;)

My skin had gotten terribly dry from being indoors so much during this pandemic. I needed a serious lotion to restore it, and am very glad I decided to try this product. It's a no-nonsense moisturizer, and you do have to be careful how much you apply. A little goes a long way, and even a little too much can make it greasier feeling than you may want. In less than a week my skin was 100% better. I will continue to use it all winter to keep it that way.

I think this is a good lotion, I got it because I started developing these small, red, dry patches on my skin. The dry skin has gone away after about a week of use. I’ve also been using the lotion on my new tattoo - which has been healing up nicely as well. The lotion doesn’t have much of a fragrance. I would maybe wait a few minutes to let the lotion absorb before putting on clothes. Overall a good lotion but I would get a smaller size for me personally next time!
