The filters were not what is advertised on Amazon website.The picture used and the description of the filters is NOT what was delivered.The filters are advertised as a "compatible" cheaper replacement for the OEM filter. Although the filter may fit, it is definitely NOT a comparable, equivalent replacement. for the OEM or the Everydrop filter. These filters are only tested for reduction of chlorine taste and odour. The ad states that they remove 26 contaminants. This is a LIE. The ad also states" PURELINE is an American company located in Elmwood Park, NJ". These filters are clearly marked "MADE IN CHINA"Bought 2(3 packs) of these filters to ensure I had stock. Unfortunately, I didn't check the filters and now 3 months later I went to install and they don't fit properly and they're not what it advertised and my return date has passed. These filters are not as advertised. They are a knockoff of the real PURELINE filters. Previous person complained about this and they are absolutely correct. The ad claims that these filters remove 26 contaminants, just like the OEM. The spec sheet says they have only been tested to remove chlorine and chlorine odour. If you buy these for your health, you're wasting your money. If you just want to remove chlorine, you're in luck, these will remove chorine!I threw away $100 on these, and I just ordered the correct OEM quality "Everydrop" filters that I know have been properly tested.The real PURELINE company from the US should be going after Amazon to have this seller removed from their platform.Save your money and don't gamble with your health.

J'ai utilisé un détecteur de ppm dans l'eau pour voir si il restait beaucoup de particule après l'avoir filtrer avec ce filtre. J'ai bien suivi les instructions et j'ai laissé passer 4 gallons d'eau dans le filtre avant de faire le test. L'eau du robinet (sans filtre) tourne entre 133-130 ppm chez moi et l'eau de mon réfrigérateur après avoir passer dans ce filtre est entre 130-128 ppm. Tried these filters because of the price compared to the more National Brand "Everydrop" Product was easy to install, water tasted great. Only complaint is how often they need to be replaced (3 Months) Most filters including these ones say they last on average 6 months. I did a quick calculation of our water monthly consumption. Based on our families Water Bottles we take daily to work and school plus the glasses of water we drink is 56 gallons per month. even if I add an additional 10 gals for misc use. Dog's Water, Tea, Coffee etc. would take us to 66 Gallons per month. Based on the fact it is rated for 400 Gallons of filtered water it should last about the recommend 6 months but we are getting 3 months or about 198 gallons based on 66gal a month.These are 1/2 the price of the "Everydrop" but unfortunately only lasted 1/2 the stated time/gallons. So not really saving the money I thought I was

Budget friendly water filters for applicable Whirlpool fridges. I can't comment on taste because BC water tastes good out of the tap to begin with. I only really use these for cold water.I did notice that the water tap in my fridge leaks a few drops after I let go of the dispenser with this, however (hence the 4 stars). The previous filter did not continue to drop after letting go of the dispensing button so not sure what's going on there. Maybe it's just this filter, but I got a 3 pack so I'll update this review when I change the filter again. When I say a few drops it's like <5 after letting go of the button so not a huge deal but caught me off guard the first couple of times.

The first 8-10 gallons I went through to flush the first filter out of the package started to look clear like the water that comes out of our tap. BUT the water becomes extremely cloudy 3 weeks use in a home with only two people using it for drinking water. I changed the first 2 filters in the package in less than a month each and installed the third one today. 10 more gallons used to flush and still very cloudy. If I wait a few minutes the water clears up but I am sick of explaining to company why the wait for a glass of water and to be honest I can't tell if it's just tiny water bubbles or actual debris from the inside of the filters.
