We bought the starter kit for our 9 year old granddaughter a few weeks ago. I thought this was going to be one of those things that she uses for a day and then tosses and forgets. How wrong could I have been? The applicator is easy to use, the 'gems' are very decorative (and I would hazard to guess would be appreciated by older kids/young adults). They are held on by adhesive which in our initial 'tests' lasted at least 2 days in the pool followed by showers, and yet were very easy to remove. It's marketed as a hair product, but it worked well on clothing, books, and even directly on skin.

I had the original blinger and ran out of jewels. The jewels are stickers and they do fall off whatever shoe, jacket, bag, phone case you put them on, but the process is entertaining and since they’re seemingly not permanent, I didn’t care that my kiddo lined her jacket, shoes, backpack... 75% fall off by the time she came back from school. I’d say this was worth the purchase as it was creative and fun for about 3 hours.
