Not so impressed with this book or the photos. It doesn’t even have the ones that we catch around here. It was a disappointment to say the least.

A need

Out of all my sons Christmas presents he says this is his favorite. He's obsessed with fishing & fish tanks so he loves looking at the pictures and asking me what's what. If your little one likes fish as much as mine does they will love this book. He goes to sleep every night looking at it

I purchased this book about fish and gave to my eight year old grandson . He is always interested learning about different type fish and what look like . His dad takes him fishing out in the Gulf of Mexico often . He was happy when he opened his Christmas gift from me and saw it was a book all about different kind of fish

I bought this for my 6 year old grandson who is not only fascinated with fish but an avid fisherman as well. He loves this book (so does his Grandpa). The pictures are beautiful and the text is easy to read and understand. This is an excellent book for any fish lover, child or adult.

The DK book series are great reference books for kids. Cool pictures, cool facts, engaging. They come in a huge variety of subjects and I highly recommend them. Great for gifts.This book was in excellent used condition.

If you’re looking for a book that explains all types of fish, their habitat and diet this is not it. This is nothing like an encyclopedia of fish. This explains their body, fish history and generalizations. It’s not for a child who wants to learn about the types of fish. It’s for a child who wants to understand about the topic of fish in general.

I bought this for my nephew's 7th birthday. He's a fish fanatic!The book has great, colorful and detailed pages. It's educational (a bit advanced for his age, but he will grow into it).It was a huge hit with a young boy who loves fish. I look forward to buying him more DK Eyewitness books.

This book arrived in good time and in good condition. I am a big fan of DK books and have bought many of them in the past, however I was a little disappointed in this book. It is neither as colourful or full of the glossy photographs that I've come to expect from DK. To be fair it is a small book for such a big subject and I'm sure the factual information is correct. Not a book to really impress a youngster who is keen on fish though. In fact to find a good, colourful book with plenty of photographs on fish is surprisingly very difficult.

Great and informative book with good illustrations.

One of my granddaughters is very interested in fish.
