Tent is fine. Has light leaking out at the seams here and there. Not as reflective as others but only by a small margin. I’m not sure light can get IN from the seams but I can see purple at the right angle in numerous stitches.Light has been great so far. It’s paired with a voltage regulator thing ($35) it’s been on 24/0 18/6 20/4 no problems with a timer ($12)The exhaust fan died on me already. It’s been running 24/7 since December 22nd.I recommend buying a stand alone tent and a filter/fan/duct separate from the tent. The supplied fan may have died on me due to pushing air out through the filter instead of pulling air in through it. But 3 months lifespan seems extremely low even with that hookup method.I purchased a different fan and carbon filter (6”) and installed a 4” inline supply fan for the tent. Air movement is much higher now. ~300 CFM output and a ~170 CFM input. Rated 390 CFM and 198 CFM respectively. 3/4 power and full power respectively.The zipper tends to catch the hair on the lining and it’s really Fn irritating. CUT DONT PULL THE HAIR.

So, this kit is ok. Your gonna need to get a new light as a 300w doesnt cover the entire tent. Tent is too large. Needs at least a 600w. Fan and ducting is also unnecessary as the led is so cool, it only needs fresh air to come into the tent. I love it as a new grower. Still better than dropping $500 on another tent. Just know youll need to buy more things to kick start and maintain your grow.

Overall it's a good price for everything you need to start indoor growing. I've grown two plants so far with success. However many pieces with it aren't built to last, and if you're going to keep growing you'll need upgrades eventually.The hydrometer included with the kit stopped working after the first grow (it works but the RH reading on the sensor is not accurate).The 300W blurple light did noticeably raise my electricity bill, I purchased a new quantum LED 100W board to replace it for next time.The filter doesn't seem to cut down odors very well, that's the next piece I need to replace.The inside seam where the tent meets the zipper sheds little plastic hairs, which is a little annoying.

I needed a small grow space but wanted it tall enough so that I didn't have to bend over 100% of the time when checking my plants. At 3' X 3' X 63", this was perfect. The filter and fan were pretty easy to install, although it would be nice to add an inline switch to the fan so I can turn it off when I still want the lights to stay on - I may go ahead and add one myself. So far, I am very pleased, but will probably order some adjustable cables for raising and lowering the LED unit.

There are no instructions on how to set up the ventilation system. I got this kit because I’m a beginner and I would expect at least appropriate assembly instructions. There are no straps provided for hanging the fan. Also, I just realized that the light is 300w and not appropriate for more than 1 or 2 plants. I would have upgraded to the 600w if it had been clear in the description. Please put some guidelines for selecting lights and assembly. I was expecting way more from this kit, it has just been a huge pain in the ass and I’m still not sure if it’s set up correctly
