Montessori Small Wooden Movable Alphabet with Box (Red & Blue, 5mm Thick)

Montessori materials are always expensive. I like buying quality so I usually don’t buy on Amazon. But this has exceeded my expectations. Awesome box of movable pieces. Well packaged, lovely altogether. Definitely worth it…buy it!

Affordable and durable movable alphabet! There are 10 of each vowel (letters are in blue) and 5 of each consonant (letters in red). The letters are about an inch long (photo for reference) with the exception of wider/longer letters like “m” and “y”. It is as pictured and comes with the sectioned box and lid. Note that the dots for letters “i” and “j” are separated and not joined together as one letter so keep it in mind if that’s not preferential to you (other movable alphabets out there have them joined together). This has been a great resource for our home and I know it’ll last a long time!! I have already referred so many friends and coteachers to this exact listing and already 4 of them just bought it!

Would definitely buy again.

I appreciate the painted control in each compartment so my students can easily find where each letter belongs (especially with the n and u!). This is one of my favorite moveable alphabets I've encountered in my 12 years in Montessori.
