Each of these 2.6 LB. stones measuring 5" wide, 4" tall and 3" deep are cast with a "super concrete" recipe containing cement, course limestone, sand, metakaolin, plasticizer and water. It is super strong and will last outdoors. The engraved portions of the rocks are colored by mixing dry iron oxide pigments, a cement type material called "scrafino" combined with an acrylic co polymer. This stuff is durable enough to withstand the harshest of weather and will not peel off or fade like paint tends to do in time. Finally, the rocks are sealed with a thick layer of acrylic sealer which gives the rock a semi gloss appearance.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
We recently lost my girl that I've had for 11 years, and it was so unexpected and devastating. We still miss her so much. I bought this as a surprise for my mom, so we could both put it in our planter box where she used to always run to to look for lizards in the flowers. She was extremely touched by it. And it makes me feel a little better to, knowing something is there in her memory. It's pretty strong and sturdy too.

Better than I expected
Very glad I have decided to buy this model. We noticed mouses last year. Mouses came to our block of flats and our car. I heard them scratching in my car. We and neighbors started fight with them for a year. I'm scared of mouses and don't really wana kill them. We put mouse catchers and sticky glue pads. But only few of them did stick. I felt very bad for killing them. I just fed up and decided to buy this repeller. Only been in operation for 2 days but seems to be working well. Since then i haven't seen any mouses and even no mice drops in my garage. I’m very happy with this, no having to bait or trap the little critters.

Meaningful and Touching
I was given one for xmas by my parents, and it meant so much. That one was affixed outside above where many of our beloved animals have been buried over many years. I bought one as well, and it's on a wall in my room where pictures of our animals surround it.

Very nice.
Hoping the elements do not discolor this over time. Wish it could have been personalized. Otherwise, the size is right and the quality appears good. Would have preferred not to need this item. But, that's just how things are.

Sweet Memorial Pet Stone
Every time I read the words on this it makes me cry thinking about my sweet boy who passed recently. It’s a nice size for my memorial garden that I made and it’s nice and sturdy. Heavy like a rock but made out of a resin type material.

This memorial stone is a comfort to those grieving a lost pet.
I have gifted this memorial stone twice to family members grieving the loss of a dog. The stone is a great value as it is very sturdy and the sentiment is a universal emotion.

Looks great but....... major issue
This feeder looks fantastic and watching the birds eating from it is amazing, as they sit in the middle and some on the sides....... There is a very major flaw in this feeder, the gap between the frame is way too large, by the time the birds have eaten a quarter of the suet fat ball it falls through and onto the ground. This attracts rats and obviously this is a major problem. I don’t recommend this to anyone who doesn’t want rats in their garden and then house. An expensive item only useful for the bin.

This has brought so much pleasure.
The media could not be loaded. It took a day or two for the birds to learn where the food was and eventually, starlings, magpies, blackbirds, sparrows were coming back many times during the day.

Hands off Homer! DOH!
Great idea this. Can fit 10 fat balls in this as opposed to the 4 that fitted into the old cage type fat ball feeder. This saves on shoe leather so I expect this to pay for itself in 173 years or so. It does of course mean that it needs refilling less often which is always a boon. In terms of quality, it looks robust enough and as our cat has eaten all the local squirrels, I don't expect any problems from that quarter. Easy to fill and yes, when the balls have decreased in size as a result of the little peckers pecking at them, they will drop to the floor eventually. Nothing wrong with that though as it will give the ground feeders a go at the good stuff. Well worth the money that it cost and after seeing it 'in the flesh', I expect it will last years. Highly recommended.

Feeding Frenzy
This Kingfisher Fat-Ball Feeder is donut shaped with a large hole and an annular wire cage taking 10 suet balls at a time and allowing birds to eat from almost any angle. It was an instant success on the first day attracting tits, sparrows, robin and nuthatch, and next morning it was attacked by jackdaws (I don’t know where they go after feeding). Also it interested a pair of magpies and numerous starlings (they similarly disappeared after an initial feeding frenzy). The larger birds seemed to drop a high proportion of suet on the garden which suited the sparrows and a couple of ground feeding ring-doves, but it makes a mess and weeding will be unpleasant. This is the reason for awarding only 4-stars to what is a 5-star product. But don’t be put off – I was so pleased with the Kingfisher Fat-Ball Feeder that I immediately purchased a second item. I’m in the process of trying different fat balls by various suppliers to get the most firm and solid to minimize crumbling.

Gap analysis robs suet ball feeder of two stars
Good value donut suet ball feeder that pretty much does the job . . . well, almost. Yes, it attracts many different types of bird. The problem is that the gaps in the mesh work are too large for suet balls once the birds have half-eaten them, and they drop on to the ground. By the end of the day, we've a nice little pile of half-eaten suet balls underneath the bird feeder, which isn't quite the point of having a suspended food station that's inaccessible to squirrels and the like. We'd encourage the manufacturers to redesign the device with closer mesh work that holds smaller pieces of suet ball. Clearly the research and trialling that went into this model hadn't factored in the 'half-eaten' suet ball...! I'm afraid you lose two stars for that!
