Plastic Tip Jars - No Logo

My husband plays solo guitar in bars and loves this. I also bought a “tips appreciated” sticker and strand of tiny white lights to put inside. It has paid for itself many times over in tips and looks more professional than the jars or boxes other performers use. Plastic and lightweight; he hasn’t broken it despite tossing it in the car repeatedly. Nice shape; prevents people from reaching in and taking money out easily. Would buy again if this one ever breaks.

After having 4 glass tip jars broken I decided to find one that wouldn’t break. It has definitely worked out well for us at my job. Bottom unscrews easily & you can’t reach your hand in to grab money unless it’s in the neck.

This is my go-to tip jar. In the past I used jars with wider openings, but had several instances where jerks reached in and took money while pretending to leave a tip. This one makes that much harder. The removable base is ideal and simple to use. I drill a hole in the base and mount it on a short microphone stand; this gives me a stable tip jar at a convenient height. It's exactly what I need; I've bought three so far. I'm very glad that it doesn't say "TIPS" or have some other lame printing/images/etc. Simple and functional.

What I like about this is that it's plastic, so it's light (the last thing I need is one more heavy thing in my gig bag) and it's unbreakable (ditto). I wish now that I'd gotten one that says "TIPS" on it. I didn't think I'd want that, but I don't think it stands out enough to get attention, but I'm going to stick a card on it, which will be fine. I bought a little bright LED light to put in the bottom of it and the whole thing glows, so that helps.

Great tip jar -- the bills are not reachable from the top, and best of all, it won't break if it falls off the counter. You can create your own wording, purchase any of numerous humorous stickers, or leave it blank. Put a buck in and it's obvious what it's for. Great product, highly recommend it!
