I do not recommend this brush if you want a long lasting quality product. The bristles are a mix of boar and plastic.The brush is made of a lighter plastic, which might explain why it broke after 4 months of use. The brush split cleanly at the inner inner hinge. I only used it once a week after a wash. My previous brush lasted 7 years, so it is very disappointing that this one lasted such a short time. I requested a replacement, but I was denied because they do not do Refunds. Please note that I asked for a Replacement.

This is my second one. The first one got too caked with hair product after many years of heavy use. I love this brush but I don't use it for blow drying. I use it after blow drying on dry hair to do the brush chase method with my flat iron. My hair turns out silkier and smooth with no rough ends when I use this. That says a lot because I have natural 4b hair with fine tangle prone strands.

I saw a YouTuber use this so I purchased and it’s amazing I thought sectioning my hair I was getting it as smooth as possible but when I added this little guy into my hair straightening process it makes it a hundred times better and smoother and no tangles and it’s so easy to use I just put this in a section and use my hot hair tools to pull it through and the difference is amazing can’t believe I’ve lived so long without this.

I've had a straightening brush before but it broke after a few months. So, I purchased a Denman brush since it is a well known brand. So far, I like this brush. It does a good job of helping me get my 3C natural hair pretty straight. The brush also doesn't appear to pull my hair out. I would suggest removing any tangles before using this brush to reduce damage. My only gripe with this brush is that there is no way to keep it closed. My last brush had a "lock button" towards the end of the brush, which I thought was a good feature. It's not a big deal. I just close the brush with a elastic band. So far, I'm glad I purchased this brush.
