Works great
Dealer asks for $950 to replace 2 IWE, I did it myself with this part for only $150

OEM Ford part for 2013 Ford F-150
Correct part for a 2013 Ford F-150 at a reasonable price! Solved the issue of some IWE noise my truck was having. When replacing the old part I found that it had broken in two. I followed FordTechMakuloco's video on IWE service on YouTube and the IWE noise hasn't returned!

Genuine OEM so no games with numbers fit longevity
update 3/2/20 FYI Mine came in a sealed OEM box from a ford dealer so I have no doubt its OEM ford Works as intended like it was new. I get tired of the swaping parts game. I save a few dollars and then fight another replacement before its time. Someone says Warn makes these. Whatever; More and More i just get OEM yea sure it's more money. I have proven to myself time and time again all smaller parts i just get OEM or the part from the same manufacturer of OEM IF I know it. The 1/2 price parts from discount houses are good to get you a few months to a year or such but i you want reliability or the same life out of what your taking off, Just stay OEM. There are reasonable sellers out there. Don't just go in to a Ford dealer and get the counter price. its Full MSRP sometimes double what you can find on Amazon.

Hit or miss
Ordered two, so I could do both sides of my f150. Was getting the tell-tell sound these make when they are bad. The first one I installed separated in two, after installation and on test drive. Needles to say, I was very disappointed. I then had to remove and replace it again, with the one I had purchased for the opposite side. To make matters worse, I requested a return of the defective item and was approved, but the next one I purchased to replace the original had gone up roughly $20. I wasn't allowed to just do an exchange. Hopefully the more expensive replacement will be a better product. They appear to be oem, as they have ford markings on them and ford stickers on the plain brown box they arrived in. However, the latest one received was shipped from an individual and not a dealer. That does make me a bit suspicious. The price is quite a bit better than the dealership, but 50/50 odds aren't good when dealing with such a difficult installation.

Yes, it's a Ford IWE
It's strangely listed as "Genuine Ford 7L1Z-3C247-A Door Lock Actuator Assembly." But, have no fear; it's truly an IWE.Ford part in Ford packaging. It should last as long as the IWE that's on your F-150 now (unfortunately).I have gotten pretty good at changing these quickly. Current IWE replacement count on my 196,000 mile 2004 F-150 is: LF 3, RF 4.Don't worry about removing the steering tie rod. Just detach the upper ball joint, caliper, and driveshaft nut, then also remove the 3 IWE bolts. Leave the IWE on the driveshaft, and it will be juuuuust enough to swing the spindle out of the way of the driveshaft. Clean well and re-grease accordingly.

OEM is the only way to go.
I had my repair shop repair these 8 months ago and when I took it apart to see the grinding that started up again because the IWE was losing vacuum, they were aftermarket. This time I looked at YouTube and found a video how to replace and bought these OEM (came in Motorcraft box). They work and have been quiet as a mouse. No more metal grinding.

Can't beat OEM quality for these parts - fit and install was easy and it works like a charm
While Amazon's system says this isn't for a 2003 Navigator, Ford does - so it fits perfectly just as I expected it to.Can't beat OEM quality for these parts - fit and install was easy and it works like a charm!!!(word of advice on all car parts - Verify on multipe third party sites on what fits your vehicle, Amazon's system is right 98% of the time, but, I see reviews from time to time where they say the part isn't right but the Amazon system says it does)
