BE350G - UPSBatteryCenter Compatible Replacement Battery (RBC35) for APC Back-UPS ES 350VA BE350G

So I got this battery hoping to save a little money on a non-critical UPS that was 7 years old (original battery). The UPS is normally mounted up in the ceiling of my basement...but I had plugged it in to charge a couple weeks ago so it was just sitting on the floor. So glad I did, because otherwise it would have leaked out all over the place. The UPS SEEMS to not be fully destroyed, but I'm not going to try to clean it out, I'm just going to toss it and start fresh. It's dripping all over the place and I have no idea what the goop coming out is. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Positive and negative hook-up terminals are on opposite sides compared to the OEM APC battery; no big deal, just criss-cross the wires (in the UPS' battery compartment) - they are long enough.The negative terminal has a plastic doohicky (that's technical jargon) which blocks my negative wire (from the UPS) from making a solid connection. [This may not be a problem for other brands]. Cutting a notch into the doohicky will allow a proper connection. I used a razor blade (some folks call it a Kaiser Blade...just kidding) and something to pop-out/grab the plastic bits.Initially thought product was defective or my UPS was broken, because the UPS wasn't functioning correctly, stinkin' blinkin' "REPLACE BATTERY" light... BUT, it just needed a good charge (like 24 - 36 hours). Works fine, so far.

I purchased this battery because of the price and it has been just fine. It was easy to install and I would recommend it to anyone needing this type battery.

The product seems to be great at a good price, but was not delivered by fedex as claimed . Someone in the area found this and a package for them in the bushes and took the time to locate me and drop it by.

I bought 2 of these for my 2 UPS's. One is an APC BE350g, the other is some generic one that uses the same size battery.Battery fits perfect in the generic one as well as the APC one, but apparently my APC uinit has corroded connections on the unit side, so it does not work. Not a fault of the battery.Both batteries came fully charged (and both worked in the generic UPS).I have a garage door opener with a battery backup that it fits in, so I will be putting it in that.Hopefully it lasts longer than the last batteries I got (less than 2 years).

This battery arrived in great shape, partially charged already. I had asked the seller, if I needed to fully charge it before installing it, and they were quick to reply. It does not need to be fully charged first, as the Uninterruptible Power Supply will take care of that during normal operation, but I could, if I wanted to, by using a small charger (i.e. 2 amp). I went ahead and installed it, and plugged the unit in. It seemed to take about a half hour to fully charge, at which point, I turned it over to my wife to use. Power has blipped off very briefly a couple of times, and the unit kicks right in, seamlessly. We're very happy with this replacement battery, and the seller.

Having read other reviews of this type of battery, I realized you need to check your APC model very carefully. I did so, and this model replacement battery said it was the precise one I needed, and it was. Fit perfectly, and my annoying beeps were gone instantly. Plus, the UPS Battery Center customer service staff were extremely helpful. There was some problem in USPS getting the shipment logged into their system, so UPSBC send it again, priority mail (I had only paid for standard), and I received it before the originally promised delivery date. I highly recommend these folks.

This was a direct replacement for the original battery. Form, fit and function were excellent so it was very easy to install. After 24-hours of charging with no load I reconnected my equipment to the UPS and tested the system by removing primary power. The system alarmed and provided uninterrupted continuous power to my desktop, printer and external drive. I let the system run this way for some 5-minutes before reconnecting the ac. I'm not sure what the total load carrying time duration of the new battery is but it seems every bit as effective as the original OEM unit.
