Was broken when I got it. Tried changing the batteries and still nothing. My daughter was a little upset but still liked the doll

I saw these dolls and thought they would make a good addition to our Barbie and Ken collection
I am a Barbie doll collector, and have stayed strictly with Barbie and her friends until this year when I began collecting dolls for my grandchildren to play with. I saw these dolls and thought they would make a good addition to our Barbie and Ken collection. I am not familiar with this band, but I liked the facial expressions. These dolls are excellent quality. The body has a nice weight and feel to it, and the joints are not too loose, nor too stiff. The body is easily positioned in many different positions. The clothes are also of above the standard for "11" to 12" fashion dolls." I wish Mattel would produce Barbie's clothes in as good of quality as these dolls wear. They will be a nice addition to our collection and a nice change from the one or two Ken faces that Mattel produces. Any child would love to play with them, and collectors will enjoy them as well. Oh , one more thing for parents, there is an off switch in case you get tired of hearing the few seconds of singing over and over.

We bought three of these One Direction dolls for our grand daughter's eleventh birthday. She was extremely excited when she opened the gift. She really liked the fact that they sing. I don't understand why the dolls were different prices.
