One Item I've Bought from Amazon which Merits 5 Stars
It is not that this remote is so good, but that the standard Sony Bravia remote I had was so bad. It started failing soon after the warranty ran out and never really worked that great with the bluetooth connection not working as expected...sometimes pushing the up arrow would cause the TV cursor to go up as expected in Youtube but many times not. It was frustrating. This new remote works great and even has a "Pic Off" button (picture off) so the user doesn't have to go all the way to setup and then dig a bit to do the same thing. Every time I press a button on the new remote, the TV responds immediately as long as the remote is pointed directly at it since it is IR only and does not support bluetooth. The one con? No voice interface on the remote...of course, at this price, wasn't expecting it and I've kept the old remote just to do voice stuff.Might sound silly, but it is nice to have a Sony TV Bravia remote which works. The designer took everything which was wrong with the Sony Bravia remote, fixed it, but didn't include bluetooth or voice to keep the price down.

No setting up hassle.
Bought this to replace my remote that was lost in a move.Since it's considred a universal Sony remote I was thinking I would have to punch in a code for it to work on a specific Sony brand.Nope.Pressed the power button and my tv turned on. Happy to say there was no issues setting it up.Pros:- Works with any Sony brand HDTV.- Functional out of the box (Provided you have batteries)- Good pricing.Cons:- Feels very light and fragile.- Does not include batteries. It's a remote. Not much else to report other than it being a good replacement at a good price.

Meh
This universal remote was the only one I could find which had most of the options that were on my original remote for my Sony Bravia TV. It worked okay, but we found that it did not respond all that well even when pointed directly at the TV, 2 feet away. You have to push the buttons too hard for anything to happen, and even then it's hit and miss. It was okay in a pinch, but not a purchase I would recommend.

It works out of the box.
It works. Put batteries in and boom, it actually worked. Surprisingly, it also worked with my soundbar which was connected to the original Sony remote. The buttons click, which I actually prefer to the soft non click of the original. It is cheap plastic and definitely lighter. But for $10 that's fine. All of the buttons are working and functioning as intended. We'll see in a month or so. But hey, for what I need it to do and the price, it's great. FYI, does not come with batteries. Needs AAA like the original.

Does not work on my Sony T.V.
I have a SONY FULL HD 1080 TV. The control came wrapped in cellophane. No instructions or anything else. Power button does turn TV on. Pressing Input button cycles me through 7,4,1,3which are all blank screens and then 6 which is our local TV. Pressing volume button works, however pressing the channel button always takes you to Channel 4 which shows a screen saying No digital channels. Continuing to pressing any button takes you to the screen saying no digital channels. I cannot find a button that allows me to change Cable channels. Tried the CC button with no result. They all take me to the No digital Channels screen. As far as I can find. This is useless with Cable.
