Not for beginners
If you already know the language or want to look up every word (because the translation is not provided) this book might be useful. if you're a beginner it is not. Try Paul Noble.. much better

Clear and comprehensive
The most logically laid out language learning book I've come across. Lots of explanation about grammatical terms, loads of examples and very useful exercises throughout.
