Vollrath (67808) 8" Wear-Ever® Aluminum PowerCoat Fry Pan

The pan is lighter than I thought, however, that does not take away from its performance when frying meat or eggs. I was afraid that the pan would not touch the cooking surface because the handle might be too heavy. After using it I was satisfied with the contact the pan had to the heating surface (glass cook top) and fried my eggs and pork chops beautifully. It's very handy. I also like the handle. It always stays cool. Cleaning is a cinch.

Very nice, good heat distribution. Make sure your aware size reflects widest circumference, not surface contact.

Really great non-stick pan. Perfect size for omelets, heats well, and made in USA so no worries about what's really in the surface. Great value too.

Good little skillet. The PowerCoat2 is rated at a good level. There are a better and best level listed on the packaging, but the powercoat2 is the surface for this skillet. I've used it a couple of times. It looks like a good surface. Time will tell how long this last.

The media could not be loaded. Placed it on the stove and noticed it tils towards the handle, and that was enough. Sending it back.

After using this pan I realized I had forgotten what a truly non-stick pan is like.Back are the days were I can smoothly flip things.Regardless of what I cook, cleaning has been just a quick swipe with a soapy sponge and rinse with water.

Don’t like

I've been using this pan for years and the coating is still in great shape. Always use a high-temp silicone spatula, never metal utensils, and the coating will last. Great for flipping eggs, omelettes and veggies.
