Be sure to order up if your kid is on the edge of a size. My daughter is 4 and wears a little kid 9 shoe. I ordered the 3-5yr. They were perfect when they came so I washed them, and they shrank and aren’t useable now, and also leached some dye into other things in the load, even with a color catcher. Nevertheless, I like the fabric, colors, and design of them so much I gave this set to a neighbor and ordered the next size up. My daughter loves to wear mis matched socks and these make her heart happy and make this momma a little less twitchy about it!

My daughter is the tiniest kid in her kindergarten class, but the kid has huge feet. Sometimes it looks like she is wearing flippers. Finding socks for her is not easy, and she is picky with "bumps" in socks. There are some that she almost refuses to wear because there are "bumps" near the heel or the toes. In the search for the perfect sock for her, I purchased these. Sizing seemed to be based on her age, but she was at the lower end of the age range. That is what I bought, and they seem to have been the right size for her. At least she is in her age-range.They are good socks. They have lasted well over a year at this point, and she is still wearing them. The successful "shoe on" to "Daddy, there are bumps" ratio is much smaller with these socks than others she wears. She has worn them to play, to school, to walk around the house, and even outside with no shoes a time or two. None of these have holes in them at this point, but you can tell that some of them are wearing thin. After a year of usage, they are also not as bright, but I would expect no difference.The heart/stripe pattern is cute, and there are good color combinations. Every now and then these clash with something she is wearing due to the pattern, but they are cute with everyday summer wear. She finds them comfortable, and they keep her feet warm inside during the winter but she never complains about them being too hot during summer months. She is getting close to outgrowing these, and I am sure it is some combination of her feet continuing to grow and these socks shrinking. From what I can tell, she will stop wearing them because her feet get too big and not because they are too worn out. Quality socks can be hard to find, especially the low-bump variety.

I was not sure if I was going to like these. They are very well made and are way better than I expected. My daughter loves “frill” socks but is too old for them… these are a great “frill” sock but perfect for her age. If I had known about these socks I’d have gotten them sooner. The ruffle is super soft and malleable so she can even wear them in boots without any irritation. Which is an added plus since she lives in rain boots!

These socks were a happy surprise. The fit is great, and my girl is happy to wear them (she's hard to get socks onto). Just the right amount of flair.

Love these. My daughter wore them until she grew them out...they were REALLY worn and only started getting holes once she was literally 2 sizes out of them and refused to change them. The colors are very nice, they wash well under any water temperature and overall look very nice. The ripples keep their shape...it's a winner.
