The product looks good.almost real, the one I revived was a little too small to fit on my head and a bit taller than I expected it to be. The fabric is nice quality. I did not like the foam on the inside it made it an extremely heavy hat and the tubing on the inside added to the weight . another thing I had an issue with was the chin strap buttons on the side are decorative and are not removable so you can't reaplacr the cloth chin strap with a leather one(which was my intent) this product is not what I was looking for but it is a well made product and I would recommend it for costumes and plays

I ordered this hat in two different colors. Initially, I received the wrong size. The seller worked with me and corrected the error. I am very happy with the quality of this product and the ease of working with the seller.

This hat is well made the only problem I ordered one size too big, that's the only reason I return it. This Captain hat is well made. If I order a new one again I will order a smaller size.

Wow, this Captain's hat looks almost like the real thing, and fits exactly as I expected. Nice quality and you'd be hard pressed to know it wasn't a real naval captain's hat. My only compliant was it was shipped to me in a plastic bag, with minimal packing. I was amazed that there was virtually no damage to the hat, given it came via regular U.S. Postal Service mail. I would have expected it to have been shipped in a cardboard box to protect it from damage. I was lucky ... I suspect others may not be. Seriously .. how much more would it have cost to provide better protection? Other than that issue, love the hat!

Beautifully crafted hat for sure but I ordered the medium (M) and it was just a tiny bit small on me. I'll keep it thought. The large is too big and the medium was just a little snug. I'd rather have it snug on me though. I'm going to return the white one (large) though for a medium.

It's hard to find a white peaked cap between the horrible costume pieces and the $100+ real deals, but this one falls nicely in between. I was worried that it would be plain white, but it does have the black ribbon around the circumference and the scrambled eggs on the brim. I took the eagle hat device off and sewed on my Top Gun patch, and also took the fake gold chinstrap off and put on a real black one from Marlow and White. I also cut the elastic chin strap off. I reinforced the stitching around all the seams as I could see daylight between them too. Finally I took out the plastic peak keeper and the floating plastic ring that keeps it's shape to make it into more of a crusher cap. I usually wear a size 7 1/4 - 7 3/8 and the size large is just a tad loose. I could put some padding in the sweatband to snug it up, but it's not a problem. I'm going for a dead U-boat captain kind of look this Halloween so I'm quite happy with this hat! I've been wearing it around town, but nobody has made any comments or faces yet.

I've been wanting one of these hats for a long time, to use onstage. Finally chose this one. Looks great, fits great...I'm happy....and it looks cool :)

Really nice quality holds shape well even has a tubing in it too help it hold shape.. When I first got it I thought it was too small but I just needed too bend it too more of an oval shape than the round one it came and now it fits perfect=)I plan on deccorating it and it's perfect for what I want not thin and flimsy like some time the other ones I looked at=)A little more pricey but the quality is worth itSo I bought the medium size and although still nice deffinatly not as high quality as the size small and extra small I preveiously reviewed prior which is a bummer because it cost 6 dollars more=( just a little bit thinner not as sturdy material still good product just not as good as the smaller sizes
