Very Sturdy
The metal and spring in the rods are very sturdy but the ends are not quite rubbery enough. They feel more like plastic than rubber and slip easier than other rods. They function well.

Perfect fit
The curtain rods were thin enough to fit in the plastic window frame and did not over hang outside of it. Therefore could not be knocked out. The tension was just enough to stay in place

Four stars because....
These two skinny little rods came in a box big enough to hold maybe 15 paperback books! Yes, I wanted them to arrive in one piece, but really??Anyway, they're very sturdy and are doing the job just great in my food cupboard! Would recommend and would purchase more if needed!
