Broke as soon as it was installed -- the weld holding the spring to the bracket gave way, and now it it cannot be tensioned. I followed all package directions carefully. It was kind of working, but not closing the fence quickly enough. Then I turned it an additional 1/6 rotation, and SPROING the weld gave away.

Looks great installed on the gate. Seems to close it but sometimes a strong wind can open it. When the wind gust dies down, the gate sometimes shuts with a soft bang.

Works perfectly for my purposes!
I bought 2 of these to keep my mailbox facing forward after mounting it on a lazy susan swivel(the neighbors bull kept knocking the cross piece the mailbox sits on off the post). They work amazingly well. If it is knocked to the right, the left spring brings it back center. If it is knocked the left, the right spring brings it back center. Couldnt ask for better!
