Swiss Army knife of torches
I only got this light for camping as I usually buy camping stuff in the winter when it isn't in such high demand. So I didn't really plan to use it although I did think it would be handy whilst working on the car.Once I'd charged it I just grabbed it to take the dogs out for a walk as my other torches weren't charged. It is supposed to be a lantern type light but it has a spot light at the end that is quiet small so I didn't expect much.I was really surprised at how bright it was and it was far brighter than my 500 lumen mountain bike light. The spot light went really far I walk the dogs on a really dark trail with tree cover and no natural light. I could see the dogs running around no matter how far they went.I've now used it loads whilst working on the car and it's my favourite light for that as it can be a general work light to just brighten up the area but when you want to look deep in the engine bay or up in the chassic you can use the spot light. It has magnets that you can stick to the underside of a bonnet and also a useful screw in lanyard.I haven't used the anti mosquito light yet so I have no idea if it works but I'll be in Scotland in the summer with the infamous midges so I'll try anything that helps. The police type flashing red and blue light I usually wouldn't see much use for but it makes it great as a torch to keep in the car.If you break down it can be used for safety with a warning triangle and the added bonus of being a powerbank just in case you blow a fuse of the 12v socket. As u learned at Halloween they are actually really useful for creating a bit of theatre if you want a zombie apocalypse type display. All in all it is a great bit of kit and I really didn't expect that much from it, I pretty much got it just to sit on a bench or in a room whilst camping but it's like the Swiss Army knife of torches 🔦
