Kenda Millville II K785 Front Tire (80/100-21)

I was looking for a wider tire for the front of my dual sported XR400R, and several people suggested the Millville/Washougal front in 90/100-21. I ordered the Millville, as it looked to have slightly more tread area, and I dual sport quite a bit. I measure it at 3.85" wide on a 1.65" wheel. Pretty good, IMO.It is DOT certified, and after 300 miles, has barely worn off the little rubber tits. I think it's going to last a LONG time. It also works exceptionally well in sandy conditions... much better than the narrow and small Micheelin T63 I was running previously. (3.2" wide) It is a fairly stiff tire, and I run it at low pressure to get it to conform to the surface better. (~5-7psi) I had it go flat on me on the first ride because I pinched to tube installing it, and I could hardly tell it was flat on the road. I've bashed it on rocks pretty good at 6psi and it is still a long ways from pinch flatting.Zero regrets, and for the price, I'll be buying another to replace this one if I manage to wear it out.

I usually washougal, but sometimes I millville, the front's are just as good.

I *ordered* a "Millville II" front knobby - what I actually received was a "Washougal II". Different compound and knob pattern.. BUT the Washougal is working very well for me in the Southwestern Desert terrain I ride in.

Love this tire more than any other I have used for riding in the AZ Desert. It grips awesome on most surfaces, but in the sand it floats a little. I paired this tire with the Sedona MX907HP and I can tackle just about anything with confidence.

It's not perfect but overall this is a solid tire and a great choice for the trail and is DOT legal

Knobblies are knarly. Love them.
