i was excited to receive the shipment though not surprised when i received a plastic, hollow toy in a cardboard box that is listed to require 50m charge for 9m flight but turned out to require 60m charge for 4m flight time. i honestly hadn’t noticed the battery life until i received the package and noticed the lack of flight time which prompted me to reread the listing on amazon. it was worse that it didn’t even fly for 5m after 1hr charge. soo disappointed, we really enjoyed when it did fly. will be returning.

The drone is fast. It has this speed control on the remote that we can accelerate really fast. I can use my phone to hook this up so i can see everything aroudn without turning my head. It has this auto hover feature where I press it went up and don't have t worry about it crashed.

This is a fun little drone that seems like a good choice for someone new to the sport who wants something inexpensive and not too difficult to master.The drone comes pretty much fully assembled. You do have to charge the battery with the included USB cable. No charging block to plug into the wall is included, so hopefully you have a wall block for your phone, or a computer with a USB port you can use. Once its charged (about an hour for a fully drained battery) it slides into the body of the drone. The battery weighs more than the whole rest of the drone, but it only powers the drone for about 7 or 8 minutes on a full charge. As with any aircraft, flight time is always a trade-off against the weight of the fuel and how much you can efficiently carry. I'm sure that this battery size was part of the design constraints for the 4 little motors that provide the thrust.The controller uses 4 AAA batteries that are NOT supplied with the kit, so make sure you have some available when you want to try this thing out, or you could get frustrated.The controller seems fairly straightforward to use, with icons instead of words on the various buttons. You definity will want to read the short manual to understand what each button does because there are a bunch of buttons and some of the functions are not obvious.There are also two joysticks on the controller (a right and a left) that do different things - the left joystick makes the drone go up and down and the right one makes it go forward and backward. Either joystick will turn the drone in flight. The left one will make a stationary pivot while the right one will make the drone fly to the right or left.One of the things I like about this drone is that it has built-in programming that will do automatic lift-offs and landings. Just push the button and it will rise off the ground to about chest height (on me) and hover there, until you tell it to climb higher or fly somewhere. Pushing the same button while it's flying will make the drone land.There is also a button that will make the drone flip or spin in the air.It also has a camera that will shoot still photos and videos.There is an app available for Android phones that lets you control the drone with some other methods. You can draw a course on your screen, or use motions of your phone to change directions. I'm not sure if there is an iPhone version of the app or not.There are some videos that you should watch that explain how it all works. There are QR codes in the manual that you can scan that will take you to them. I definitely recommend that you watch the videos.Overall it's a fun and capable little drone. It isn't built for heavy duty use and it doesn't fly for very long on a charge. But it does come with replacement propellers if you have an accident and break the originals. I think it's a good way to learn some of the skills necessary to becoming a decent drone pilot without breaking the bank. Please let me know if you found anything in my review helpful.

This is a great flying drone with really cool lighting. The altitude hold works well and so the drone is quite stable in flight. Easy to control. The ring surrounding and protecting the props light up with a bright yellow light. I had trouble getting into the battery compartment, but if I had read the instructions fiist I would not have had a problem. Goes to show that even if you have a bunch of drones you still need to read the instructions first. There is a little post that looks like it is for a screw. There is a little switch just above and behind it that if you press it down the post goes down and the battery cover slides off easily. I figured this out after I had chewed it up a little prying with screwdrivers and letter openers. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. This drone has very good instructions and it is a lot of fun to fly. Controllability and video quality is good.

Amazing Toy. It was so easy to set up and get in the air. Within an hour of receiving the drone, I had topped off the battery and was in the backyard zipping it back and forth with no crashes... BTW, this was my first time ever flying a drone so that's a testament to how easy it is to fly. Still trying to get used to orienting the flight direction and have learned that the smartphone FPV helps tremendously in that effort. Once the drone is more than 30 feet away its difficult to know which way is forward, the FPV solves that.Overall I’m super happy with this drone and the way it flies and how long it flies since changing batteries every 3-5 mins is super annoying... this drone DOES NOT disappoint you.
