So, these are expensive for being rocks on sticks, I get that. Still, these are awesome for what they do, and I'm happy to have bought them.Idk what's special about agate, but these do the job nicely and the tool roll is even useful. If you buy a lot of tools here you'll know most of the boxes and containers are garbage, but this is a real suede tool roll.Anyways, I'm impressed, even if I was hesitant because of the price.

Price seemed too good to be true and now I see why. Burnishers need to be extremely smooth to be useful for any application I know of, these had scratches. The product is totally useless as is; if you have the talent it might be possible to grind and re-polish them on your own.

I purchased this agate burnisher set to use for burnishing gold leaf on icons. One of the burnishers, a green leaf shaped stone, arrived snapped off at the metal ferrule. Two of the other agate stones have some inclusions which concerns me that they might break if I to much pressure when burnishing. The handles are made of light wood and sanded smooth but the edge where it meets the metal ferrule is a little sharp. The protective case is nice and overall the price can't be beat. I'm looking forward to burnishing with them.
