Q: Why is the price higher in my cart than on the page listing all the shoes?

I don’t know the answer but I checked the sandal I bought and it also is higher on checkout page. I would call Amazon and ask the question.

For me, the size (8 1/2) is exact. The length & width is just what it should be. I loved these sandals from the moment I put them on. Very comfortable.!

Q: What country are they manufactured in?

Mine are several years old and I wear them year round because they're still in good shape. The label inside the strap says they were made in China, but maybe the manufacture is done elsewhere now.

Q: Can you remove the insole?

No, you can’t remove the insole.
