Handy little hammer for removing stuck alloy wheels during puncture repairs
I don’t know if you are aware, but changing an alloy wheel on a car can be simple enough, until after you’ve loosened all the wheel nuts and the wheel won’t budge because it’s “welded” itself to the wheel hub. Apparently, this is because the alloy bonds itself to the steel hub, and it can be a terror to pull apart. Besides, climbing under a jacked up car to pull it off is definitely not recommended. This is where a copper hammer comes in handy and, unlike a steel hammer, will not damage the wheel. Because of its small size it’s also easy to stow in the wheel well in the boot! Hope you find this useful.

Superbly made but wow its big and heavy !
Replacement for a v v old copper hammer.I had not realised how heavy this was going to be. Might have bought the size 1 had I'd known ?For comparison, photo shows the 4 hammers I use in my workshop. They weigh:3.5 oz pin hammer - 145g12 oz hammer - 434gOx rubber mallet - 719gThor copper mallet - 1,293gMostly used to separate Morse tapered stuff - and it certainly will be well capable of that !

Perfect for tent pegs.
This is just what I wanted. Typical Thor quality (i.e. excellent) and ideal for driving tent pegs into hard ground. Much smaller that the rubber mallet I have previously used and the copper heads prevent damage to steel and aluminium tent pegs. The really good thing about this style of hammer is that all the energy goes in to the item you strike and none is wasted as there is no rebound.

Soft head hammer that doesn't crush bolt heads / threads etc.
I got this hammer to help in servicing my car, with a video website (YT) showing a softer head hammer, harder than rubber, will help loosen bolts that haven't been undone since the car was put together 10 years+ ago. The head of the hammer deforms and dents as copper is quite a soft metal, but the bolt does not deform, so no stripped bolts etc. I would highly recommend this hammer, I don't know how I managed without one all these years.

Very small as picture is of a No 2 size which is much bigger
Much smaller than expected and when looking at picture it shows a No2 not the 308. Still useful little tool so decided to keep it.Good warning about buying on line as nothing beats handling the product before purchasing it!
