Nail Spray Nail Polish, Purple Shimmer, 1.4 Fluid Ounce

The polish color is beautiful and the process is very fun but if you wash dishes or shower in hot water be warned. The polish doesn't just chip like a normal polish would with washing dishes it peels away. The first time I tried it I thought after that maybe I had not given it enough time to "dry" before showering and that was why it basically denigrated. The second time I was very patient and waited 20 minutes between coats, and 30 minutes after the top coat before not showering but just quickly running my hands and feet under water to wash of the excess from my skin, I waited until the next day to do dishes and when I did, the polish once again came right off my nails only leaving a slight shimmer. When I went to do the dishes the same thing happened. I'm super disappointed because I was really looking forward to this product being awesome and unique.

My daughter, Corinne-9, and I saw an infomercial on TV about a very similar product, so I searched amazon and found this "Nail Spray Nail Polish." I read magazine reviews and other online reviews about spray on nail polish, in general, or in other words not on any specific brand. The reviews all stated pretty much the same thing: that it worked well enough, didn't chip, and was basically as advertised. We just had to try it. Amazon's price for this spray on polish was more reasonable than the infomercial price, and of course, I can rely on Amazon. So I bought three colors for us to test out.Here's how it works:1. Wash hands, make sure your nails are clean and dry.2. Apply a base coat polish to your nails and let it dry. (I personally think one coat of base is enough, but whatever floats your boat.)3. Protect your environment!!! Put some news paper down, or paper towels or something to protect your work space. This step isn't in the packaging instructions, however, we got nail polish everywhere, so I learned quickly to protect my space lol.4. Spray. Hold the can about 12-18 inches (or whatever is stated in the instructions) away from your nails and spray it on. It sprays like hair spray.Tip: I did two and three coats of nail spray, depending on how dark/vibrant I wanted my nail color to come out. I would let it dry for a few seconds (approximately 30-60 seconds) between layering sprays.5. Apply a top coat polish and allow to dry. Yes, you are messy. Yes, your hands are totally covered in this spray polish. But, if you don't apply the top coat nail polish, the spray on polish will wash off. (I did one to two coats of top coat, again, whatever you prefer is what you choose to do.)6. Wash your hands. This is where the magic happens, in my opinion. The polish just rinses right off, no soap required! I was really worried when Corinne was covered in purple and blue polish (COVERED!! lol) but it came right off, with minimal work. I was so impressed with how easily it washed off that I even did our toes!7. Enjoy! You are done.I must say that I did notice some chipping after a couple days. I do wash my hands often and I use hand sanitizer frequently (related to my job as a nurse), so its possible that I aggravated the chipping process. To mediate the chipping I noticed early on, I started using two coats of top coat polish.I think this "NAIL SPRAY NAIL POLISH" is fun and I'm happy I bought it. I bought the only colors that were available at the time and they are all great, with good pigmentation and vibrancy. If more colors become available, I'll get them too. I definitely recommend this to anyone that was a quick nail job, is bad at painting, has small children, or just wants to have fun trying something new. :)

I was hoping this product would eliminate the sloppy look around my fingers where the mishaps occur with regular nail Polish. After applying the top coat, the clear Polish leaves me with the same sloppy look. The spray on color does wash away as the product states with soap and water but this benefit is useless of when you apply a top coat your hand is not steady because whatever Polish is under the top coat remains . Stick with the cheaper brush on Polish

I THOUGHT IT WAS NEAT TO USE. WOULD HAVE GIVEN FOUR STARS, BUT A LITTLE BIT TIME CONSUMING. IT IS BEST FOR ME TO USE ON THE PRESS ON NAILS YOU NEED TO POLISH. MAKES THOSE MUCH EASIER TO POLISH WITH THE SPRAY. THE COLOR WAS GREAT. (I BOUGHT THE MAGENTA).

We love the bright color and the application process seemed so easy. Everything was good until my daughter showered later the same day and the nail Polish just fell off. It just lifted off her nail and fell off. We followed the directions correctly. She's really disappointed. I'm going to return it.

Complete joke, complete waste of time do not waste your money at all. This product is crap. I am so angry that I wasted my money on this. It took one use and the whole can is empty. I had to do three coats of it per finger, and it looks lumpy it was starting to pool towards the tips of my nails, and i ended up running out of product by the time I was going to do a third coat on my ring finger and pinky finger of my right hand so do not buy this. Also if you look at the second picture somehow it managed to miss the sides of my first and second fingernail and thumb on my right hand even though I sprayed it all over every finger. I took a shower the next morning after, and it peeled right off.

I am pleasantly surprised by the results. I didn't buy the China Glaze base coat or top coat. I used my OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener as my base coat (and made sure it dried fully...it only took about 5 minutes.) I followed the directions and sprayed two coats of spray polish on each nail. It sprayed on fast and evenly, and was super easy to apply. It also dried REALLY fast. I then used a top coat from Sally Hansen. The trick to this polish is the topcoat. Wherever you apply the top coat is where the spray nail polish will stay. (I realized this after I accidentally failed to cover a portion of my left pointer finger with the top coat. All the nail polish stayed on after rinsing my hands off except for the part that wasn't covered with the top coat.)I just used soap and water to get the remaining spray off my fingers, which came off quickly and easily.For someone with really short nails that has trouble applying my nail polish evenly, I'm pleased with this product. I wish it came in other (more subtle) colors.
