Q: Do they shine in the sunlight ?

These are a plastic/resin and are nice and clear. I however, bought them for my grandson to use as Chaos crystals for his passion for Sonic the Hedgehog and honestly can't say if they shine in sunlight. I would say yes they shine, as light should pass through them, but not like a glittery shine.

Q: Do these hole in them for hanging?

No, there's no hole for hanging by a string.

Q: Would these be good to use as buried treasure in a kids outdoor gravel pit? I expect them to get scratched, I don’t want them broken though

Yes!! Small enough to hide for a treasure hunt but not so mal that they get lost in the dirt/ sand. And even if they get a little scratched it plays into the theme right!😉
