Have tested these for days. Each time, sticking to a wall or other vertical surface, and leaving for the recommended 24 hours before clipping anything in, the clip will only stick for a few hours. Putting on a ceiling or horizontal surface (under a desk), it holds much longer (I have one test clip that has been holding for a week now).Would be much better if using a sticky pad similar to those on the 3M command series. I suspect that the tape here is not even 3M VHB as the color would appear to be imitating.So. OK if hanging, terrible if trying to keep a cable tidy against a wall.Update:If used on a vertical painted metal or smooth plastic surface, the holding power is fairly rubbish. When used horizontally, it is better. If the surface is porous, like an interior painted wall, then the holding power is improved. Still not great. Found that the sticky pad is supposed to "activate" when you compress it, so have resorted to sticking with many little press/release actions for the initial 30 seconds, before leaving for a day and then putting the cable in. Seems to work better than a single push and hold. Overall, the sticky pad could be much improved.

These wont even hold a cable trailing up a table leg, there is no stick to them. I had to use 8 up 1 leg and the slightest tug they all fall off. A bunch are also stuck together in the box and when you pull them apart the ads come off. Waste of money.
