Marvel's Avengers (Xbox One) - UAE NMC Version

I was invested in the story, however I tired of the gameplay loop around 5 hours in and neither the great narrative nor my decades long Marvel fandom could help me push through. The game's just boring, and that's without me getting to the anecdotally monotonous endgame.Also, the achievements (on Xbox Series X, at least; I can't speak for the Xbox One or Series S) are bugged to Hell. I had at least 3 achievements not unlock for me in my short time playing. You'd think that:1. Crystal Dynamics could cobble together a half decent game with (at time of writing) 9 months' worth of patches and post-release content2. Disney would be more protective of the Marvel and/or Avengers brandI waited for this game to drop under £20 (I paid £17.99) before taking the plunge, due to its mixed reception. I wouldn't even recommend you buy it at even half what I paid, to be honest.

My son loves this game, he says it's that good that he just can't stop playing it! When he completed it he couldn't resist playing it all over again, thank you Amazon another good job done.

So this game has been bashed a lot since release. The graphics are superb. The story for the campaign is good, and the free DLC stories aren't bad. But the game is still plagued by bugs, many which are game breaking, and it seem Crystal Dynamics/Square Enix don't care enough to fix it. It needs more characters, more story, and above all, mega fixes.Saying all that, I find it an enjoyable play. I've certainly played far worse games. Once the game is fixed, and tonnes of content is added, it'll be a great game.

Ok, so this one is a weird beast. Will you have fun- sure. However, the multiplayer design of the game to serve as a service does sip through to the single player campaign. That does not always translate well, and at times it's just purely annoying.Regardless, if you fancy the story then go for it - just be aware this is now on the Xbox game pass, so it might be cheaper to sub for a month and see if you like it.

Bought for grandsons birthday. Am sure he will love it.Arrived ahead of time. Well packaged. No complaints.
