Edit: Updated review to 5 stars, seems the weak magnet problem was because i have a non-magsafe case on my phone. Its so so so thin but just enough that it doesn't work as well. Remove the case and the charger can support he weight of the phone if you are SUPER CAREFUL.Got this charger on sale so you basically got the wireless charging pad for free. With the usb-c 20w charger in this kit the whole setup is way cheaper than the official apple one. I know the brand and trust them because I own a lot of their other products.The one issue, if it is an issue for some, is the magnets. They are not strong enough to hold the weight of the phone like some brands. They are just barely strong enough to find the right spot on the phone when i set it down. There are pluses and minuses to this though. On the plus side when you pick your phone back up it is easier to pop off the charger. Huzzah. On the down side sometimes you need to manually position the magnets a bit to get it in the right spot. You also can not hold the charger and phone together, just your hands will wiggle it enough that it comes loose. So don't expect to be able to hole your phone and watch Netflix with this charger on the back.So are the magnets an issue for you? Really depends. If this is only going to sit on your bedside and not be lifted or used when charging you will be fine. If you really want to be able to use the phone while it is charging you may want a better option. I can not use my phone at any angle and charge at the same time.

That’s an additional 19.99 for the charger. Cost of set up is $60 bucks for basically which is a lot. MagSafe is cool but is it worth the $60 to use it. I recently just upgraded from a iPhone XS Max to iPhone 12 Pro and so I went back and forth with rather I wanted to take advantage of MagSafe. Especially considering the price of an official apple MagSafe charger is 60 bucks.I did a bit of research and stumbled across third party MagSafe charger from RavPower, Aukey, and Anker. I went with RavPower because it was the only one bundled with the wall charger and for an incredible price of $20 after promotions and taxes. So I ordered two. One for my living room and another for travel. I might be ordering another just to have in my bedroom.This charger is amazing, fast, of great build quality, and affordable. $20 set up beats a $60 one any day and you do get the MagSafe charging animation as you can see in the photo. Get you one you won’t regret it!

This charger has a mini-type c pd adapter included and a fast wireless charging pad compatible with MagSafe iPhone cases.This is a 20w USB c power adapter that provides fast charging with either magnetic chargers or USB c to lightning cables. , and all in a compact form – the same size as apple’s 5w adapter.I am going to mention this again as this is a through-case charging with magnetic, suitable for use with apple’s magnetic cases. That is why you do not use a lot of very cool magnetic chargers as they don’t work with your case, this one does just get the case and this cool charger.sleek & compact measures 62mm x 6.1mm and crafted with a lightweight aluminum base it is just cool, buying them for everyone in the house to put on the nightstand.

My wife and I originally shared an official apple MagSafe charger, mostly because we didn't know if it was actually going to be something we used. I have to say that after having it for a couple months we knew we needed another so that we didn't have to keep sharing. I saw the reviews for this charger and decided that at less than half the cost of the official MagSafe charger it was worth trying.The pros: The item is exactly as described and looks even better in person than it does in the pictures and it securely attaches to the back of both our phones (12 Pro and 12 Pro Max).The cons: I could not get the MagSafe animation to happen on either phone. We made sure our phones were completely updated and restarted them to make sure it wasn't our phones bugging out. We even borrowed my sisters phone, a 12 Mini to see if it would work for that one, but we also had no luck.Its a wonderful product aesthetically. I really wish it would have worked, I guess it's possible i just received a defective one, but now I'm going to have to get am original replacement from apple.
