I like to be able to draw circles without poking holes in the paper(a compass does) It doesn't work well one the ends overlap for smaller circles. I didn't realize there are two different rulers (metric and US), I bought the metric . That is minor for me since I am not using it for measurements. The price should be under $10.00. I would go to 5 stars if so.

This is a great idea, but because of the material's rigidity, as you set smaller circles, the small circumferences on the ruler (the bottom edge) becomes warped and is no longer on one plane. This means having to flatten the upper edge to match the diameter to the object. My hands are not big enough - smaller than an octave on a piano - to both flatten the edge and draw the circle. At smaller diameters the circumference becomes oval because the leading edge of the ruler is where the most pressure is exerted on the material.

Its OK, it certainly doesn't stry completely round when you set it to a diameter but good for setting points etc around a circumference. It could have been made with better plastics as it feels more like a prototype and not a polished and complete rule.If I was to lose it, I would throw this out of the window first!!
