Great quality great fit.
This was an amazing product. Easily installed. It looks great as if professionally installed. The holes where slightly off. But overall a great product.

Confirm the item will fit your vehicle...
I purchased this bug deflector for my 2002 F150 and it fit perfectly and looks very nice on the truck. I will say the hardware provided was inadequate to say the least. The pins were not long enough to fit through the thickness of the bug deflector and the thickness of the trucks hood to properly mount the deflector. I went to a local auto parts store and purchased a plastic box of grill/headlamp rivets (qty 9ea) more than the six needed. The part number for the 1/4" rivets is 961-016! I will say the plastic AVS logo came off in the first wash...no big deal, just saying so. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great product!
Satisfied with turnout; after reading reviews decided to go with this version given that it is functional. It looks great! The installation I expected would be tedious because of the reviews I had read. However, I lucked out and had no issues, everything screwed on well with the provided screws. Only issue was the rubber supports that would fall off even with proper cleaning and prep.

Excellent bug shield, would be most convenient if they would have included self taping screws-
The hood shield fits my F-150 1999 XLT Super cab 5.4 perfectly. The shield has a real nice contour to it.My truck is pretty dark, and the tinted color of the Bugflector blends right in. It seems pretty durable, for what is. The shield itself get is 5 star, but the customer and the shield desirve better fastening hardware. I'd rather pay a few bucks more if needed for the convenience for the shield to include the self-tapers. I ordered a 10 Pk of Stainless self-taping 1/4"-20X (threads) x 1/2 long. Ordered some 1/4" T rubber washers also, wouldn't fit with them on. Would need to get the same screws in 3/4" length. Just used the 1/2" long ones, they fit and snugged up very well- I started with a 3/8" socket, and snuged them up with a 3/8" open end wrench; didn't want to over tighten. The screws worked well and seem to be fine without the washers.Got the stainless screws through Amazon- 1/4"-20X x1/2" long Stainless Steel, In a box, top of the bag B00GWYTE14 / # above the screw size: 14083W188. You'll definitely like the Ventshade, especially if youdon't have to search for self-taer to fit. Could likely go cheaper if not going with the stainless, but least you'll know they'll last.

Would recommend.
Timely delivery. As build. Not the highest quality product but a very close second.2002 Ford F-150 King Ranch.Perfect fitment out of the box with factory holes. No drilling needed. Supplied hardware worked fine for me.

Looks and fit well
I put one of these on my truck 15 years ago. Held up well. Got brittle from the sun and needed replacement. New one fit perfectly in place of the old.

Had to "rig" it a bit but, it's OK...
I bought this for my wife's older model (2000) F150. It was supposed to fit in holes that were already in the hood and it did . . . sorta. The holes in the deflector were "off" just a tiny bit and I don't think it would have been a big deal except for the cheap little plastic screws/clips that are provided to attach this to the hood. They just would NOT hold the deflector in place. It looked nice on the truck and I wanted to use it so I had to scrounge around and find some other METAL screws that would better work to attach it. Once I found some, it went on fairly easily and solidly and has worked and help up well for the past month or more. It seems to be a well-made deflector, I just wish the company wouldn't "scrimp" on the cheap (and weak) plastic attachment screws. They make installation more of a pain than what it really needs to be.

Great protection
I looked at one of these with our local auto parts store and I bought it through Amazon because of the big different in the price. Amazon was about half what the local parts store wanted. And it fit perfectly, keep the comicozy bug splats on the windshield down to a minimum.

Bug/rock guard
Great looking product. Did not fit . If you are good with a grinder and a heat gun and about two hours of install time you can get it to fit with work. Plastic clips are also weak.

Looks good. Sturdy enough.
Wish the annoying logo was not there/visible...or could be removed easily.
