I use spray rather than ground watering by this pump
I have two large polytunnel greenhouses and I saw online videos about people who had used small pumps like this to create an overhead spray irrigation system fed from rainwater collected in sumps, tanks or water butts. I wanted to use spray rather than ground watering as this can also help to keep temperatures down during the hottest parts of the year.Building up the network of pipes and spray nozzles was pretty straight forward, but my first attempt failed because the nozzles I had bought need a higher pressure to force water through in a fine mist. The pump I originally bought just didn’t have enough power. Most of the diaphragm pumps I could find maxed out at about 60 or 70PSI and water was just dripping from my system, not spraying. I found this high-pressure AC powered pump that says it can deliver up to 160psi and up to 80 gallons per hour and it works brilliantly with my setup - I now get a really fine mist throughout the whole greenhouse which is perfect for the cooling that I wanted. This pump seems to be designed for long running because it has a built in thermal protection system - the pump runs continuously for up to about 1.5 hours and it then automatically stop for a 20 minute cool down. It then repeats the process for as long it needs to run, protecting itself from overheating and this should mean it lasts for a long time. One thing I really like about this pump is that it works automatically because it has an built-in pressure switch. The pump detects when you turn the feed tap from the water supply off and it stops running. The manufacturer instructions say that the pump is self-priming up to 6ft and that it’s absolutely fine to run dry. This was something I was worried about in case it emptied my rainwater sump and then kept going. This pump won’t get any damage if it does lose water supply and there’s a delay before the automatic pressure switch kicks in.The other thing I like about it is the amount of noise it makes, or I should say the amount of noise it doesn’t make! I was worried that being an AC powered diaphragm pump it would make quite a noise, especially as it’s rated to high pressures, but I was really surprised by how quiet it was. It was no noisier than the smaller, low pressure pump I tried.I’ve had this installed now for about a year and it’s been running problem-free. I’ve since added another valve after the pump which means I can now use it to fill buckets or watering cans from my rainwater sump just by turning the valve to direct the water into a hose and not up to the irrigation misters. Because of the power I was also able to attach a 30ft hose to it in order to use rainwater to mix up some concrete I was using to repair some paving in the yard. If you need a powerful pump and you’ve got an AC supply then so far I can recommend this one as doing a good job.

Espresso shop
We own an Espresso coffee shop with sterile water tanks and this pump seems to work great. It has all the power to pump the right amount of water to the sink and/or the espresso machine with very little effort (compared to the flojet pump that we replaced). It has only been installed for a week but so far I am impressed. It is on demand so when the line is full the pump shuts off, and kicks on when water is needed. I only wish it came with different size tips, but with buying a couple of adapters it works just fine. Input/output are both for a 1/2 inch line. My husband had it installed in less than 15 minutes.

Frustrated with this pump. Update: had to buy new pump.
I hate to write a bad review. Even after they sent me new blue clips when I finally got it working properly it started to lose pressure again. I found out this threaded input was cracked and while trying to replace the elbow after gluing the crack, it broke completely. The seller has been very cooperative with getting the replacement pieces shipped out. The pump works fine but the blue clips and input/output pieces are fragile.Update: pump still didn't work and could not contact seller. Bought a new pump from a different company 3 weeks ago. Just got new parts in the mail today for this pump. Too late. Vary upset.

Fortunately, it only sprayed into the greenhouse
"Super Powerful Pump, But With Weak Plastic Accessories. The pump was working well in my spray system for five months, and then it began to leak a few days ago. The C clamp deformed, but I am not sure if it was due to the high pressure or the high temperature. When the C clamp deformed and the outlet seal got damaged, the high pressure water started to spray out. Fortunately, it only sprayed into the greenhouse. I removed the pump and found that the joint thread was about to twist off. I contacted the seller and eventually bought two sets of accessories on the official website, which cost me $15. I installed the accessories, and adjusted the system flow to prevent it from overheating and causing the C clamp to deform again.I highly recommend that the seller provide metal parts, or ship initial orders with several sets of spare parts. Anyway, the pump is really good, but accessories need to be improved"

Cheap fitting retainers / Great pump
This pump is a solid performer, it wired and ready to go. The only reason it does not receive a 5 star rating is because of the slip connector fittings and the fitting retainers. Two different types of connector fittings are supplied, one is designed for what I think is a 3/8 hose to slip on, the other is a threaded 1/4 inch. It was easy to find fittings to take the 1/4 inch threaded up to a half inch to connect to flexible hoses. Okay back to the loss of one star; the retainers are made of soft blue plastic and will fail to hold the pressure side fitting under pressure, resulting is a rather large leak. It was then that I discovered this pump would run for untold hours without water and still work. I was faced with a choice, contact the manufacture and have them fix the issue or take matters in my own hands. I chose the later plan, I used a wood screw slightly larger than the blue retainer and carefully inserted the screw in the place of the retainer, making certain not to screw through the housing. I also recommend that only flexible hoses be connected to the pump to ensure that the weight of any pipes do not rest on the fittings. I recommend this pump to anyone, it is very dependable.
