I had high hopes for this product when I saw them for my 2008 Chevrolet Uplander van. When my grandfather gave me the van, they didn't come with the remotes because my grandfather had broken both of them when he tried to change the batteries (hes such a slob lol). I cannot stand not having a remote, so when I called chevy dealers, they scared me with the price, so I took a chance and ordered these hoping that they would of worked like it says. When they arrived, it turned out that I cannot get them to program no matter what I try. I follow the instructions to a T and they still won't work. The red light just keeps flashing for a few seconds with a loud chirping but nothing happens. Just decided to return these and suck it up and get them made properly at the dealer.

I received this on Wednesday, and programmed my key fob on Thursday. Today is Friday and I got an alert in my vehicle that the battery on my fob is low. Needless to say, I am more than irritated, when a person orders something new, one expects the battery to also be new. In this case however I now have to figure out a way to replace the battery in my brand new key fob.
