Works great!
Plug & play on Win 10. Works perfectly with "Q Light Controller +" lighting software.

it works!
I am using QCL+ running on a Windows 11 laptop. This USB/DMX dongle does what it's supposed to, both hardwired to my lights and using wireless.

Way better than the Lexada!
i use QLC+ for my dmx software. I started out with the lexada. That was a total nightmare to get to work, and on top of that there was delay issues. Since then i switched over to the DMXking usb to dmx and that worked absolutely great. around $70 but totally worth it. well im about to put together another rig and the dmx king has been sold out for months. i read some reviews on this and figured i would try it and if it didnt work i would just sent it back. i put it in the usb slot and the drivers auto-installed (it came with an installation cd but i didnt need it). i fired up the dmx program and saw the device was available and tested it and it worked perfectly. at $23 what a bargain!

Vary limited as to what it can do.
I vary rarely give a bad review, so here is the only good thing about this product. Mind you this is after extensive research, installs and uninstalls, reinstalling operating system to make sure no residue from other drivers. Hooking up different lights, wireless and wired connections, different dmx software's, and frustrations. Over the course of many days. It works, but only good for one software, and one fixture at a time. No daisy chaining With this product. Yes, it works, but for the price you get what you pay for.

Works!
Works just fine out of the box. One thing to watch for is that it is susceptible to EMI interference. You'll want to make sure it's isolated from anything that's noisy or you might experience some flickering on your light fixtures.

Hard to find software that it works with
I have tried 5 different professional DMX software packages. This device does not work on any of them.Has anyone found a software program that this works with?Update…I did get this to work with FreeStyler software. It works as expected.

Works, but not plug and play for me
Wasn't plug and play for me unfortunately, so had to jump through some hoops to install the drivers. Once I figured out how to use Freestyler, the cable worked flawlessly, ie. no issues with controlling my DJ lights. So, happy with this cable and would buy again if needed a new one.

useless device
not compatible with EVERY DMX program I tried. I is either broken or useless.

Drivers
Let's face it, how many people have a laptop with a CD drive? Not me and I doubt many other people out there. To find the drivers online do a web search for "FDTI D2xx drivers". This should get you to the FDTI D2xx driver page. On the right hand side of that page you should find a link for a Windows executable file hidden in some text. Click and install and your laptop should now see the DMX interface.
