This filter is never off my camera. I love how it makes my RGB lights in my studio give off a slight glow. Well worth it.

Yes, these are popular. Yes, pretty much all "cinematic" youtube videos are starting to use these. But, that doesn't mean this is the only type of diffusion out there. There are different and better types, so though this is good, there are shortcomings. For example, this does give highlights a glow, which can make it look like a soap opera. Luckily, the 1/8 version is much better at this than the 1/4, so its more subtle. In conclusion, solid filter, but don't be afraid to experiment and not just rely on this because a bunch of people on youtube say its the best - chances are many of them have never tried any of the other diffusion filters.

Le filtre en lui-même est très bien mais l'exemplaire que j'ai reçu n'était pas neuf. Il y avait de la poussière et des marques sur le verre ainsi que des marques sur le métal, ce qui signifie qu'il a été utilisé. A ce prix là, c'est inadmissible donc je mets 3 étoiles seulement.

Can be very expensive however I managed to get one for £30 or so including shipping to the uk (where they usually cost £70+!!!) and this was a great deal, I only have this 1/8th version and would prefer the stronger 1/4 however any more than this and it is a bit niche and wouldn't be ideal for most filmmaking or photography use.
