Design House783191 Ball Dummy Door Knob Polished Brass

We have a door that separates the bathroom from the master closet with an interior door knob. I simply wanted one that could be locked so the actual bathroom part could still be secured. This fit perfectly and matched the existing oil rubbed bronze design throughout the house. The total replacement probably took about 20 minutes. It came with everything needed along with the emergency tool to unlock it from the outside.

In our new house several closet doors had no handles. These were the perfect fit. Easy to install and very sturdy. I had my 84 year father-in-law place them on the doors. Recommend these in appearance and connivence.

Approximately 8 years ago we replaced all the exterior and interior doors in our home as part of a remodel project. We installed Design House door knobs and have been very happy with how they've held up. I did replace one of the keyed knobs last week because the mechanism broke due to user misuse. The knob went to one of the doors to my workshop and was loose for about six months. I should have tightened it with a screwdriver but didn't. One nice feature you can do when you purchase in bulk is have all the keyed fixtures keyed alike. This brand is a major player. Our large purchase came from the company we bought the doors from. The replacement knob was purchased through Amazon. The antique brass finish has held up quite well, too. There is some wear on the back door we use multiple times each day, but the war just adds to the "antiqued" look. Hope this review helps in your decision. Easy to install. Sturdy. Does the job. Comes with one in a box.

I wanted to match the already existing knobs in my hallway and could not find it in ANY hardware store in this Brass color! This one was a PERFECT match to my existing knobs and was very easy to install in just a couple of minutes. Quality made to last for many years of use. The one I purchased was a dummy (not locking). It is made in a locking model as well. HIGHLY recommend this well made product!

No issues installing the product. Comes with a template for cutting the correct size holes. Seems sturdy
