My honest opinion: great idea, abysmal design
I’ve received my unit, here is what I’ve learnt so far:1. Assembly is quite a challenge since the long part on which you can bead your keys is also the part that screws in. It should be the other way around, the static socket should be the long one, the closing cap should be the short one so you can put the base down, bead your keys, put the top on and secure it, all whilst the thing is flat on the table.2. The bolt does not lock in. After unfolding and folding my keys a few times it twists loose and needs tightening. Naturally it can’t be tightened too much because then the keys won’t move. It is possible to do this with a small coin, but the 5p coin is the only one that is the right thickness and even with that (in fact, even with a screwdriver) it’s a bit tricky as the groove on the tightening bolt is not deep enough and the coin/screwdriver keeps popping out of it, whether I’m only starting to screw it it or already trying to twist it tight.3. Cylinder keys are not 2 mm. They are 2.5mm. I have different cylinder and security keys from multiple countries, and every one of them are 2.5mm. The spacers that come with KeySmart are 1mm... give or take.4. Half the things I carry are cylinder or security keys. The other half are Mortice (still incredibly common in the uk, especially but not exclusively in older houses), bike lock, gate key, car keys, usb stick and trolley token. If you only carry cylinder keys and maybe a usb stick and car keys the design will just about work. With everything else it will either make you carry two or more sets of keys (which would defeat the purpose - if I split my keys, they won’t be bulky in the first place) or just add a bulky and long extension to your already bulky key ring.5. Long enough to be clutter but not long enough to comfortably fold your keys in, not even the regular cylinder keys. They keep opening in my pocket or catching on things, surprisingly more so than when they were loose on a ring.Overall this is a terrific idea, but it shows how little though and creativity went into the design process, and for the price every nuisance makes me feel like I’ve just wasted money for no good reason. If I can find use fir it, I’ll keep it. If not, at least it’s mostly metal and recyclable.

Cautious, with 'expansion' pack : would NOT hold "eight keys" just three keys.
Cautious, only with 'expansion' pack : would NEVER hold the claimed "eight keys".- previously purchased the Keysmart Flex- sent immediatly back as it was tiny and would not evcen hold three keys!'upgraded' to this KeySmart Flex instead:Pro: this one is metal and does hold keys securely with good rubber spacers.Bad:There is no way even with the 'expansion' pack this would ever hold the claimed 'eight' keys, but I managed to attach (just) TWO flat yale keys and One chubb mortice key- yes that is right WITH the expansion pack just THREE keys(!)The caribena is too small to clip to anything and not practical for daily use.The bottle opener is useless; it's too small, snags on the bar and already twisted after just one use.Summary:There are MUCH cheaper chinese copies, the ONLY thing going for KeySmart is that the little spacers do actually 'hold' the keys, the chinese copies don't.Overall VERY expensive for what it is, and in practice useless without the additional 'expansion pack'.Disappointed.

Just okay
Very expensive for what it is.The keys have to be very specific to fit. Doesnt hold the quoted amount, even with expansion pack. Its metal and tidys a few keys, but don't expect to revolutionise your keyring
