I really wanted to like REIGN. The idea of it really appealed to me. And I know how negative reviews can be straight up wrong sometimes, because usually it's the angriest or upset people who write reviews, not the happy people.Unfortunately, the REIGN was very inconsistent with steps. Like...huge. I went on an 8 mile run, had my phone with Nike Run on, and the iPhone health tracker, and the REIGN. Both Nike and Apple Health registered the 8 miles (and I confirmed the distance via Google Maps). REIGN registered 6 miles. That's a lot of missed steps. When I called, REIGN support said it could take 10 days to adjust to my stride and everything. It had been 8, by that point. So maybe it would have corrected? But even after 10 days I still saw a large discrepancy between what every other device told me and what REIGN told me. I called REIGN again and it turns out the algorithm works on a stride of someone who is 6'1. I'm 5'6. So. That would probably account for how off everything was.I do think the heart rate thing was awesome. No idea if it was accurate or not, but I liked it and it would motivate me.I would have kept using the REIGN, for the Go-Zone alone, but it bricked. They updated the software and during the syncing phase: my REIGN froze at 33%. After like 10-15 minutes, I finally had to turn it off. This ruined the unit. I opted for a refund rather than a replacement unit.I hope they continue to improve the REIGN, but the current version was sort of disappointing. Though I think I liked it better than the BASIS watch.

Inaccurate tracking and left peeling skin
I work a 9-5 desk job, bike 10 minutes to and from the office, along with spending around an hour and a half at the gym between lifting and cardio. For a month, I rode the bike at the gym for 30 minutes, and not once did the tracker come close to displaying 30 minutes. One thing I could not get a solid grasp on, was the go-zone. The score would always be in the 2000+ range, and after not meeting the goal for a month, I would have thought the tracker would understand my daily routine and adjust accordingly. The sleeping feature kept my attention, however, even though I was constantly given times to make up for lack of sleep, I was always told that I'm getting optimal sleep, which just doesn't make sense. The last two things that forced me to return this band, was the band itself.1. Literally every time I put my arm through my backpack straps, the band would un-clip and fall on the ground.2. The metal pieces on the band left my skin dry, red, and peeling. I didn't even notice this for about 3 weeks, because the marks were on the outside of my wrist, which is not a common place to look everyday.Ultimately, I had high hopes for this tracker, as I have purchased multiple jaybird earbuds, and continue to use them daily. Unfortunately, I had to return the band. If Jaybird redesigns the band and comes up with better user tracking for different lifestyles, I would considering giving it another shot.

Perfect solution, but doesn't work.
I REALLY wanted to like this device. They a building the right product, it just doesn't work well.I am a locally competitive runner who wanted an activity tracker that incorporated heart rate in order to get an idea how my recovery was going and whether or not I was overtraining.Unfortunately, I couldn't get the display to consistently respond, the iPhone app often couldn't find the device, and I only got the "Go Zone" to work one morning out of 5.I was willing to forgive a lot and wait for updates. This seems like a pre-beta device and I just don't have any confidence that this company will be able to deliver on the promise. At the end of the day, I think it will be easier for me to gauge my recovery from a general purpose tracker that actually gives me the data I need. Next up I will try the Fitbit Charge HR. My Reign is in a box on it's way back (and I am bummed).

This is a great looking, great fitting activity tracker
This is a great looking, great fitting activity tracker. Very comfortable to wear, and that was my primary reason for choosing this tracker. But buyer be warned: the software is very buggy, and promises of android releases have been delayed month after month. I got burned paying full price for a half functional device, and now the price has dropped only months after going to market. The marketing team at jaybird is slick. You really need to look past the pretty models and videos and packaging. If they spent as much money on software development as marketing, this would be a 5 star product.I advise checking back in in 6 months to see where the software is at.

Dissatisfied
This was my first venture into the exercise band field, and what a disappointment. I researched for a while and bought the Reign with the hope of having a similar experience as I have with my Bluebuds X...unfortunately that was not to be. Upon receipt, I found that I was unable to use because, surprise, there was no Android app support! Now that the app has been released, I have had nothing but connectivity issues, sync problems and such. Followed all recommended steps on the FAQ list on the support page to no avail.. Sorry to say, but will be returning this in exchange for something else...time to dig into research once more.

Great activity tracker but limited in data
Jaybird Reign is one of the only fitness trackers capable of tracking swimming and biking. It fits comfortably and I like the style of it but it does not allow you to see data beyond one day. Also a bit unsure of its accuracy at times.

Very unimpressed. All of the features that "sold" me on this product in my evaluation have come up well short. Sleep tracking has been horrible, Go-Zone never seems to work and I really don't get access to as much history as I would like. If I were to do it again, I would save my money and look at alternative products. Good idea, in theory. Bad execution.

I am having lots of problems with the app. It has never registered sleeping, even after the recent upgrade. I like its form and the fact that I can use it to swim.

Reign version to be checked prior to purchase
I bought this item for a Christmas present (2015), apart from some issues with delivery, it arrived and looks awesome. The headsets from Jaybird I've bought before and I'm really pleased. This Reign however is out of the comfort zone of Jaybird. It states you've been swimming even when the swimming tracker is turned off, thinks an eight hour sleep is actually fifteen minutes and overall is very disppointing with a series of faults.Support stated that even though I bought it in December the item is out of date and I will need to send back at my cost of $50. So less than four weeks after purchase and its a right off. Outrageous.Be careful what you are buying, looks like you can buy what you think is a current model and then get tucked up with something out of date.I'm back off to Fitbit, they've always been fantastic and accurate before, unlike my experience with the Reign.Jaybird wrote "By the look of your receipt you have purchased discontinued hardware after our 11/25/15 re-release of our recovery band as the latest hardware .... the next option would be to replace your outdated hardware through our $50 pod replacement program. Which means that you'll send us your outdated pod and once received you can call in and place an order over the phone for a new pod at $50".

Jaybird Reign looked really good. But the app doesn't exist
Jaybird Reign looked really good. But the app doesn't exist, for android, don't know about iphone etc. So pointless. Disappointed. Company gave money back no probs. But I had to pay return postage.

non particolarmente accurato nel calcolo dei passi
ho provato vari activity tracker. il reign è quello che mi è parso meno accurato nel calcolo dei passi. è molto bello esteticamente come modlelo per donna
