binj XS Tablet for Android

I needed a sub-$100 tablet to use for my digital comic book collection, as my phone's (galaxy s6 edge) screen was a bit too small and would require me to shift the view around whilst reading. There were a lot of tablets available that fit my limited budget. Usually, I would let the reviews influence my decision, but the specs on the binj XS put it far above the rest of the tablets in the same price range.($50-$75) I am glad I bought this when I did, as it is not available here at the moment. Here are a few positive opinions I have on the binj XS:- The binj XS is aesthetically beautiful and very comfortable in your hands.- The 2048 x 1536 resolution display is vivid and similar to what you would find on a high-end tablet (ipad, galaxy tab, etc)- The touchscreen responsiveness is very efficient, miles ahead of what I would expect from a $60 tablet.- I like how the buttons and connectivity are laid out all together at the top, leaving the sides free of any obtrusion while shifting my hands up and down the sides- The external Micro-SD slot was a must for me, but the HDMI connectivity is an added bonusHopefully binj will have more available here before the end of the year, as I would like to buy a few of these these as gifts for christmas.

Nice tablet! For the price, this is exactly what i need. I needed a tablet that my kids can stream Netflix, Spotify and play some basic games on and this tablet nails it. Visually, the picture is excellent and the sound is good, and the bluetooth works great too. I've played around a bit on it and surfing the web is a solid experience as well, but again where this tablet shines is streaming videos. So far, ive found it to look good, load quickly, and when paired with a case, durable. I also really like the HDMI out on it. In the rec-room we dont have a streaming device so hooking up the xs tablet to the tv with the HDMI port works really well when the whole family wants to watch a movie from netflix or just some youtube videos.If you are looking for a good tablet for streaming videos, bluetooth-ing Spotify and playing kids games, the xs tablet is an excellent choice.

The binj XS arrived 1-2 days early from this seller and package was complete just as described in the ad and u Tube video. The tablet HD video resolution was exceptional for a tablet in this lower-end price range The front camera pics are great and rear camera is in the good range. The 5.1.1 android os was snappy and very responsive with the 2gs DDR3 and 1.6 GHz q-core processor. the only drawback that I observed was that about 20 % of the available apps on google would not install on this machine. This may be because this apps may need to be updated in order to run on the 5.1.1 os. I would strongly recommend this tablet to anyone interest in an quality android tablet as an alternative to higher price "A" mini or HD fire-tablet.

Can't ask miracles for this price. The tablet works fine, the screen is high res and easy to read. It does have some "defects" in the form of thin wavy lines which are visible only if the screen is off and you look at it from a sharp angle (see attached screenshots). Does not affect the picture while in use.The battery is really small, the tablet dies in about 1-2 hrs when I use it connected to WiFi. If I turn WiFi off and use it to read a book with a dark background for the pages, it lasts a bit over 3 hrs.The overall plastic is rough with sharp edges.I used it to organize my ebook collection and read ebooks and also as a digital photo frame. Works great for these 2 tasks, but of course need to be charged often. Still for $60 it is hard to argue with the crazy high res display, makes reading really easy on the eyes.

As price increases, so do my expectations. At this price, I didn't expect much. This product greatly exceeded my expectations. Here's a summary:o The display is bright and very sharp.o The battery lasts 8 hours of intermittent use.o The single back-mounted speaker has no bass, but is very clear.o The interface is stock Android and very responsive to the touch. Option to add screen capture button.o Works! The first time I called up Google Play Store, it crashed. After manually installing an app, the Google Play Store has not crashed since.o A custom-fit protective case is available.

I so far regret wasting my money on this tablet. I'm glad I bought it while it was on sale so that I didn't have to waste even more. The only thing I like about this tablet so far is the size. It's fairly wide as it is tall. But I've barely used it and already it's got several scratches. It's possible that I have been more rough with it than I think I am, but I do take pride in taking proper care of my electronics. The battery life is awful and it likes to have issues charging. The first time I tried plugging it in, I had to basically break in the plastic frame of the tablet because the company didn't make the size of the port big enough. The tablet is also slow to respond, it takes way longer for it to open or close an app than it should, make it has a weak processor, but I don't know. Another irritating thing is that there are no home buttons readily available, you have to swipe down from the top of the screen in order to access the home button, which I find can get annoying when the tablet doesn't want to respond.TL;DR the tablet sucks, its a waste of money. It's an unknown brand for a reason.
