Sturdy, weighty, good finish. I have knocked one on a cupboard door when putting it away & dropped a spoon in one; both bowls are fine! Mine do not appear to be seconds. They are a good size for a pasta meal (or any meal that requires a bowl). I have used them in the microwave on full power for 5 mins to heat food and - although very hot - the bowls were fine. I am very happy with these bowls

Good weight and size, solid, stylish bowls that I use for soups, stews, and some desserts.

I’ve had 4 pasta dishes for years and wanted some more similar ones. These are perfect and really good value. I wondered whether they were proper white - in some of the photos, they looked off-white, cream or even greyish. I asked a question and got more than 10 replies (thank you). I can confirm they are definitely white. Another question was whether they are microwave and dishwasher safe, since they aren’t marked with this. Although I can’t verify it yet, the photo shows the slips that were in the box.

Lovely bowls whether you eat pasta from them or use as servers.I particularly like the shape for eating from them - it's comfortable if you know what I mean. I have other large bowls that cost 4x as much and are not so nice to eat from.Will be getting another set.
