Cheap drive belt broke on the first day
Yes, it sharpens knives.Yes it is cheap with cheap parts and will break quickly. Like multiple reviews warned (I should have listened) I the first day of use this broke, upon inspection, the motor drive belt is a rubber band had broken. I can confirm that the grinding disks are cardboard, not sure how long those would have lasted either.It did sharpen 4 knives quite well - Passed the paper cutting test. But it is incredibly cheap, and comes with US plug (not a UK or Eu plug).

Comes with wrong plug!
“Amazon’s choice” but comes with a US 2 flat pin plug rated 120V. Therefore useless and sent back.

Shoddy Drive Belt
The rubber drive belt broke within weeks with no clear way to purchase a replacement.
