Rhode Island Novelty Red 3.5” x 6” Museum Penny Holder Book Two Per Order

I had read from another review that this book can fit smashed pennies. My girls have little collections of smashed pennies and wanted a place to keep them. However, upon testing this product, it does NOT fit the smashed pennies. Sure, some fit, but about half their collection did not. So, do not get this booklet for that purpose.

I have been collecting smashed pennies for more than 25 years, when I got my first one at the Space Needle in Seattle. It ended up turning into a 'thing' over the years and now I have amassed quite the collection from all over the United States and Canada. I have a souvenir penny book I got in San Francisco that was around the same price and the cover of it very decorative and nice. However, that one is full and I haven't seen another one around so I bit the bullet and ordered these. The pennies do slide in easily but don't fall out, that is all I can ask, I suppose.

I bought these for my kids after they filled up the flat penny books they had.These are nice. The slots do seem really tight. Tighter than the last books we had and I'm wondering if we can get the coins out...On the bright side they won't fall out (they didn't fall out of their other books either) they serve their purpose, they look nice, and the price was right. I would definately buy these flat penny albums again.

We collect pressed pennies from every place we visit. I purchased these books and took one on our Walt Disney World trip this year. We all but filled the book. It worked great, traveled well and kept them securely in one spot. The kids absolutely loved collecting the pennies and they loved that they had a place they can put them and look at them!

More durable than I expected. Fits standard smooshed pennies perfectly. However, I had to force several of my fatter pennies into the book. Surprisingly though, the plastic did not tear when I forced the coins in (as I expected it would). Once in, the coins are difficult to remove. However, you don't have to worry about them falling out or getting lost. I think this product is a good deal for the money and I have wanted one for a while so I am overall pleased to have it.

I've collected pressed pennies since I was a kid and bought this for some friends' kids who were taking a cross country road trip with their family. Great project for kiddos and sort of a scavenger hunt as they were always on the look-out for the penny press machines at each stop. Nice to get two books. Not super high quality but it does the job and great for the price. The kids loved it!

You really have to force the pennies in there and forget about ever getting them out but i guess thats the point. We just wanted to take our out to rearrange them and its very hard to get them out!!!

These are cheap but work. If you're looking for leather and luxury; wrong. If you want someplace to put pennies, this works. The slots are a little tight vertically (short dimension of the penny) so I would bet some may require the vinyl stretch just a bit more than would be awesome.
